Bicyclist dies in Madison accident

A North Carolina man died Saturday when his bicycle slammed into a guard rail at a high speed.

that is sad. it should be illegal to ride roadbikes around here. there are no shoulders on most of the roads, and many of the bike routes are on streets that have 50 mph speed limits and are on curvy roads where cars cant even see the bikes until it is too late. most states have separate riding lanes for cyclists. i realize this didnt involve a vehicle, but still.

THE LEAD CYCLIST GOES 55 AND THE REST NEED TO KEEP UP. BIG THRILL...."it should be illegal" I DISAGREE -- WHAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL IS LOUD MOTORCYCLES THAT SCARE THE BICYCLE RIDER OFF THE ROAD.
