Mayor of Pevely

The same thing that happened to the Mayor in the City of Ellisville need to happen here in Pevely.
He discusses city business at the McDonalds on Hwy Z every morning. He threatens business owners with not signing off on there business permits if they dont go along with what he wants. The aldermen for the city will not stand up to him for fear of retaliation against there familys. He has told the employees of the city that if they continue to come to city meetings they will be fired. If he would let the new administrator do his job in running the city, he could turn this titanic around, but he is to power hungry and self centered to care about the city, its all about him and nothing else. Why would he be conscerned with getting the employees of the city a pension, he gets his pension every week from his job, but to keep taxes down and to get re-elected every time he is up he refuses to do anything with it. The last time he was elected he changed his term from 2 years to 4 years so he would be able to have 2 extra years to screw the city over. I believe taking items off of a public agenda for a council meeting after it has been posted is illegal and having meetings during the day without public notice is illegal as well. He ran a fruit stand out off the city a few years back that was in the old Sinclair gas station bldg because there tomatoes were simply better than his that he grows and sell off of his property with out getting a business liscense, because he says he is grandfathered in becauseis farming, no its bending the rules to make it work for you. His signs that he sets out at Z and Old State Rd North dont meet the requirement for having a commercial sign in the city but nobody can say anything about that or he puts his thumb down. Legally someone needs to look into impeaching this person before Pevely becomes broke.

we need change, I see that there is a few alderman that recognize the need for change to be able to save this city. the mayor also needs to recognize the need for change or we will be the first city to go bankrupt in missouri CHANGE IS GOOD. we need members on the board that have at least some knowledge on budgets or finances. one if our newest members has not clue of what the hell shes doing what a waste of votes . she was very inappropiate at the meetIng and did not present herself well to the public. Mr Mayor I know you will see this so I will address this to you. even I relize that the citys financial state needs help, if that requires more businesses, tax increase within reason or other means to generate revenue, then you should also. I would be extremely pissed if I need a police officer and rather quickly but had to wait for county to show up and hour later because they are tied up on calls and the closest one available has to come from dittmer or high ridge all because you and the alderman ( whom you all should be working together for the better of the city) can not get your act together. if you need some help play SIM CITY and learn how to actaully build a city my 8 year old can help you if needed.
