Vacation plans scaled back as gas prices rise, economy sags
“People really have to think 'Can I afford a (vacation)?'”

My summer vacation plans are pending on the price of Diesel fuel this summer. I usually travel to the UP at least 8 times over the summer and fall. As much as I love to travel it's getting harder to keep a budget . I feel bad for the people depending on the tourist for a living.

I dont think I will be going anywhere out of state but will be taking a vacation somewhere on the west side of the state. It helps Michigan's economy so I guess its a good thing.
