You haven't lived here (Michigan) until...

-You've seen someone shopping with a Bridge Card and envy the nice cut of steaks they're buying, and you can't.

-You realize that the gas prices have gone up twenty cents in twenty seconds, and you're still waiting in line to pump.

-You hear "You'll be blown away" from your Governor, and wish now that she were the one getting "blown away" for the lousy job she's done.

-You realize that your state continues to get "honors" for the highest unemployment rates, and that nothing isn't making it better.

I could go on and on...

Taxpayer- I think you're the biggest grouch. Have you thought at all about changing some things in your life to have a more positive outlook. You're headed to an early grave... bitching the whole way to it. Perk up dude and lighten up.

We should all start collecting and tumbling those unique Michigan stones to sell to other states and maybe even Mexico. Then we could expand our state parks, mend fences, fill pot holes and possibly support our public schools. Thereby helping to eliminate the states debt.
I'm really not a grouch - but I do believe we all need to help re-invent out beautiful state and bring our families back home. Just a thought....
looking for the "gold" :o)
