I don't think that Mackinac Island has a right to buy the boat lines. They should let thing run like they do. But they do need to low the prices

Hey - when you go to a vacation place and on a vacation you expect and know you are going to be paying. I can't imagine how much the gas costs for the boats but has to be a lot. What happened to the old "choice"? I have used Shepler's Ferry and have been very happy with the friendlyness of everyone. Why the first time we went 20 yrs ago I learned later that the fellow helping some people with the luggage in their trunk was actually the owner. I was impressed! All the years there has been 3 lines and now one person wants to take over? Isn't that how Hitler started?
