Just talked to the man that is starting a new feed supply. He can get anything you might want in the farm supply area. feed, baling twine also. horse feed, salt blocks, loose salt, pellets, bird seed. He is just trying to get started so lets support him. The one in the little place that used to be a car detailing shop seems to be closed now. dont know what happened there.

There is no need to be Rude! if you email him he will give you his name or any other info you may need. people complain because the businesses around here go away, then I post about a new one to help the local pet owners and farmers so they don't have to travel far for supplies and then you come on here being RUDE! If you don't want to by from a local that for now you seem to not know his name, then thats fine but I am sure you don't speak for everyone(thank God). he has lived in the area all his life and his family's family was born and raised here. It would be a shame if you was to find out who he is and you have known him for years, and you have came on here just because you decided you wanted to be RUDE! your RUDE!comment may come back to bite you in the butt.

yes it is greg.
as for the store in what used to be the old tri-county-vet office. he hasnt been in when i have been by there lately.
As for Greg, he is just trying to see if he can make it. and to do that he has to have community support. He said he is going to sell at or below others prices. Hey, i will drive the short way to Ballard anyday, rather that having to drive all the way to pearisburg southern states.

If Greg is doing business from his house like he was he can not be know as a locally business, he is just someone trying to make a fast buck in the back yard, and the feed I bought from there at his house a couple of weeks ago he never charges taxes and never gives reciepts so I guess when you operate that way you can give a great deal, when you dont pay taxes on the items you sell, plus have a payment or lease to pay along with other cost of doing business the proper way, I know he was reported to the state for this, and what people like greg are called in book is a cutthroat, he wont last long.

With food prices going up, a lot of local businesses are looking real good. Pat's in Ballard has great produce, the Corner mart in Rich Creek has great produce and Smith Valley meats is the best meat and you know where it comes from rather than a prepackaged pack of unknown meat like you get at Wally World.

Dingo, when you have a business and everyone who buys feed and dog food etc, dont have to be a farmer to buy feed, some people does not even have a tax ID number and therefore those buyers have to be charged taxes if not then your not doing business right, shows how much you know about business but I guess its not your fault you were raised on welfare and sit on your but all day, but I guess it runs in your family and being from mccdowell county dont help.

Where do you think all these taxes you're paying go? To some fund that does you any good. Nope, it goes to pay people who do or contribute little to society. In this great socialist experience called welfare it is"From each according to his ability and to each according to his needs," so next time you send in that tax check, add a little more because theirs a lot of needs out there and you have a lot more ability than you're paying for.
