LINDSIDE, W.Va.— Linze Ray Brown, 53, of Lindside, formerly of Bruno, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 6, 2009, from his home after a long illness.

Born July 30, 1956, at Man, he was a son of the late Linze and Gay Morgan Brown. Also preceding him in death was one son, Jamey Brown.

Linze was a disabled coal miner, formerly employed with Island Creek Coal Company. He enjoyed hunting and sports and attended the Pathway Church of God at Christian.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Debbie Carter Brown; one son, Billy (Beverly) Brown of Bruno; one brother, Ricky (Wanda) Brown of Davin; his father-in-law, James Carter of Bruno; one nephew, Ricky (Sarah) Brown Jr. of Davin; one niece, Becky Brown of Davin; one great-niece, Abby; two great-nephews, Nathan James and Seth, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at Noon Monday, November 9, at the Pathway Church of God with Rev. Harrison Williamson and Rev. Rodney Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Monday at the church.

I worked with Linze in Elk Creek,He was a good worker and would help anyone that need a hand.
