a student should take pride in his/her work

I am addressing this to all the Petersburg students. I am a University graduate with 3 degrees, old, but not unfirm. I, like the majority of the hardworking students in the school system will have their fair of challenges to be met as they grow into adulthood, with all the wants and needs that go with them.
I was a youth who skipped school, fought alot with others, mostly being of my own stupidity, such being the joys of youth. The year 18 hit and the draft took me to Southeast Asia, where I really learned what it was to fight and to see my much more educated brothers die " for their country".
Being, or better said, having been one of the luckier ones I came back after a year and a half in the jungles of a country where the peoples did neither want nor need us in their business. Sounds a lot like today, with all of the finest youth going and dying in a worthless stupid war by a bunch of bureaucrats, who would not let their own children go and do likewise.
Who wants their beloved child brought home in a box!!? So that leaves the youth who are either too slow, disobedient, stupid, and trouble making to stay in this country and procreate with the females of the same status bringing up children with myriad problems, grief to their parents, by then having had grown older and wiser, and the immutable Law Of KARMA, bringing them, what was brought to others by them.
Having had been a youth with very little chance to make it in life, I had to fight my way to the point where I now am, a Registered Nurse, who loves and deeply cares for the people they take care of only to be fired from one job after another, largely due to the lack of social skills to make the lazy subordinate do their work so I could do mine. Fired, fired, fired, and fired again because I would try to reason and cajole the co-worker to work together with me so that the frail, helpless elderly needing much care would be done so in a compassionate, kindly, respectful, and gentle way. So they would not be thirsty, hungry, dirty, and wanting to die because death seemed to be a better alternative then they have had gotten from the lazy, indolent, co-worker who did not have the where with all to understand that in the "morning", they also, would have to take up the same position in this ever faster fleeting thing we call life.
So now, for all my misdeeds, I pay for the sins of the past because the Law Of KARMA will mot be skipped by any human being.
I went and obtained a curse upon me in my elder years, of a minor, soon to be of the age of majority, defiling my property on a daily basis, urinating on my garage and other areas of my house and garage, running away laughing, Ha Ha Ha That old jerk is getting his, which indeed I am, whereupon even after taking him to court, which left me defenseless against him for now, will grow up to be jobless, because, like the majority of the youth today, have no marketable skills and will be forced to break in and hurt, maim, and steal anothers belongings, finally winding up in the corrections system.
To the youth with some smarts, drive past my house in walnut hill and look at the Karma I am paying for now, in my elder years for having done what I had done in my youth.
