This is going to effect so much both here and abroad. Prop H8 is about to be ruled on, but who knows what happens next. DADTDP WILL be repealed, and the foot dragging failed. I can't wait to see what happens next. The Tea Party here in Florida is already in DEEP doo doo, with the budget fiascoes and refusing Federal funds for the Elderly.

My God I think I can here bigot heads popping around the world. Or is that the Champagne?

This is wonderful news except for the poor Russian population still under the thumbs of the powers that be.
In reading this article, it only reinforced the notion that individual liberty, especially our Gay brothers and sisters can only be slowed by conservatives NOT STOPPED.
As time goes on, a more enlightened youth sets president and determines the height of the social liberty bar.
In time the old fades out, as bright new hope abounds.
I thank God I am alive to see it.
Oh Happy Day.

Gays in France need to do something that farmers, workers, and students in France are quite good at - stage a riot. It seems to work in that country.

Why is it I get the impression that every place you go throws going away parties in your honor after you have already left?

Some may say that the USA, as a whole, is slow to act in legalizing equality and justice for all. While we are a conservative country that believes in personal freedom, most of us take a very long time to realize that that freedom is expressed in different ways by different people (and the USA is all about different people). When we finally allow civil rights to a formerly despised group; women...Blacks...Jews...Cathol ics...Asians...the Deaf...GLBTs, the world has always noticed and still does. Justice for all; maybe still a dream, but it's what we're famous and infamous for.

nah...ol' Woodys' too conservative for that, but he does like to drown himself in the hooch. You'll notice as the day goes on, the froth spewing from his mouth increases, and he "shouts" a lot more. He kinda reminds me of the old man in every neighborhood that sits on his porch in his boxers and yelling "Hey, you kids! Get off my lawn!", but deep down inside, is a decent fella...just a little lonely.

Years ago, my parents went to court and had the "e" added so people would be confused and curious like you for example.

Let me get this straight.....All the Gays can now move to New York City and get married and live as married couples there legally? I say New York can have all them Flamin Fairy's.
