The Sports bar is run buy the most unethical person I have every had the displeasure of doing business with. Linda lied to us and posed our private event casino night in he FB page and still has unapproved images.
Not only is the "snack bar" disgustingly dirty but actually got two critical violations from the health dept. on the last inspection. Once the critical violations were fixed the next day as per procedure a re-inspection was done...guess which one she posted to FB. When I tried to correct the posting on FB I was called white trash and my postings were removed.
To compound the issue she invited her customers attend a private party we booked at her place. When we asked them to leave they started a fight with the guest of honor! We should have known we made a mistake when it took me an my friends three hrs to clean the restaurant before we could have the party.
The bottom line is dollars are votes...Don't vote at the Dugout in Burlington KY.

I worked for her when she first opened had another employee buying her 8balls of coke and accused us of stealing food we were watching her take home she accused us of getting high not true and also tried to say we stole money sorry Linda you can't cover up your coke addiction with us
.. was clean when I worked there other then that she never changed the fry oil on fish days like she claimed hope no one is allergic to fish! Very bad woman to work for has hired and fired many of her own family she's disgusting

Last Friday for lunch, we tried this restaurant for the first time, it is a local place and we like to support the community. Food was good, but the service was just ok. I asked, "Do you charge for soda water?" She replied, "Yes, it's still SODA", seemed annoyed I asked but it's usually about 50/50 if places will charge so I always ask. "Ok, I'll just take water then". Chalking the attitude up to a bad day or simple personality conflict, we enjoyed the food. Finding a good deal for this restaurant a week later on an online site, we decided to go again, this time for dinner...hoping we'd get someone new to serve us and have a little better experience. We did get a new waiter and he was very nice, good food, enjoyed ourselves. There were three of us in at the time, but I'm thinking to myself, I've got to bring my friends out here for girls night (every Thursday)!! At checkout, I handed the waiter my phone with the voucher. He comes back over and says, "I'm sorry, the owner says we can't take these on Fridays." I ask to speak to the owner. The owner, who happens to be the waitress that served us the first time, marches over and says, "Here's the deal. We don't accept these on Fridays or during Reds games". I said, it doesn't say that anywhere on the voucher, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased these certificates to eat here tonight. She answers, "Well, it does say that you can't use it with other promotions" I say that I agree, but what's the promotion we used? She says, "Tonight is 35 cent wing night and beer is on sale" I reply that we did not partake in any of those promotions as we didn't order any wings or beer. She responds, "Well, I can't take the voucher from a phone anyway, you have to bring it in printed out" I say that according to the voucher I have, I can give my phone to the cashier and there's a button on the phone that they can push to validate the order without having to print the certificate. She says, "Well, these aren't <online site's> rules, these are MY rules. You could have taken a picture of the voucher, I don't know if it's real or not" (Sidenote: Again, there's a BUTTON...you can't push a button on a PICTURE). I respond, "I understand your rules and that's fine, I will contact <online site> and get a refund, but you've unfortunately lost a group of customers (3 people at the time, but trust me I would have been back with more). Her reply, "That's your choice...and soda water's not free!" Stomps away. She recognized us from the previous visit and seriously decided that instead of saying, "THANK YOU so much for coming back to see us!! Just FYI you can't usually use these on Fridays, but we want to keep you coming back so I'll do it this one time" Instead she decided to treat us like criminals, locking in our decision NEVER to come back (let's not even talk about future patronage lost). THEN, as if that all weren't enough, she goes behind the bar and starts yelling to her employees about the situation...everyone in the restaurant could hear. Even as we walked out the front door we could hear her, all eyes on us. We were so embarassed and disappointed at what a negative turn the evening had taken. This experience has really ruined my Friday evening and I'm really disappointed to get this kind of service from a local business. I'm genuinely disappointed and really wish things could have gone differently.
