Yet another officer is dragged by an operator who refuses to stop. This just happens far too often. This one ended in a bad way also....

Just use the brake, stop and all stays calm.... Drive off, drag an officer or endanger anyone else and the end result is usually NOT GOOD. Officers are faced with this every day somewhere. and you wonder why officers react to the actions of others who FAIL to Comply ? I understand, you never will because you will never have the integrity to become a police officer and face death every day you go to work, but never know where it will come from. One place for sure is,,,,, those drivers who REFUSE to STOP.... Their reasons make NO difference, just follow the law !!!!!!! Soooo, we have yet another one who violates the law and the end result was NOT good. When will people learn ? Its sad for their families and friends. My heart and prayers go out to them and the Officer who was put in that position !

007 you trying to make Samantha the poster child for not drinking and driving is a joke, newsflash Tyler is already the poster face for police brutality/murder and nothing can or will change that now. By the way her toxicology report hasn't been released yet Mr objective and it doesn't matter to me, who flashes a light in a drivers face anyhow? Your comments on how not to break the law to avoid the consequences is ridiculous knowing jaywalking, speeding a person to hospital or even backing out of your driveway is against the law and again rob leone did nothing but have a car similar to another persons who was involved in a minor theft that day so get real. Also you are intoxicated with ego and hypocrisy that your employment corrupted you with. You talk of strength and character but you don't know the emotional battles some face everyday and still sacrifice for others without all the accolades you received. Cops ain't the only heros out here and do you really think she almost pinned him, where is the injury of him being struck allegedly when he had to jump on the hood and how fast was she going then? Oh and eyewitnesses you said you would never take the word of because they may have been too drunk is convenient for ya. You know liberty and justice is not afforded to all and so does every judge. Only those with money and connections feel safe under the wing of law. You have great power in that profession and with it comes responsibility so finally you are being held to a standard you expect us all to be held to. Now stop playing Tyler's dad and try playing Sam's mom for a second, have you ever wondered what your child's last moments were? How unbearable to think you may never know. Where is this caring heart you have or do you only do good deeds to be seen by others or get a plaque ? Go put some money in her memorial fund. The wheels of justice move slow and if the prosecutors office don't bring charges do you really think she wants to pay an attorney and endure a trial? It ain't about money. Your buddy has free legal representation and memorial funds and an army of officers ready to support him so stop playing the victim card for him he is a big boy with a gun and you are perpetuating a backlash of distrust and hatred towards officers. Please learn something from this!

Car007 I have read your "probably deserve it" posts and it scares me that you are a police officer. You shouldn't be as you are no better than the lowest thug in your willingness to violate the law based on what your intuition tells you.

I pray that Tyler spends the rest of his life in prison. I pray that you never act in the manner you say you will but if you do I hope you spend the rest of your life in prison. You are a dangerous police officer and do not deserve to wear the badge. A badge that only brave men willing to protect the public should wear.

Thank God most police officers are not like you.

You pick and choose what you read and or believe. I am RETIRED and have said so many many times on here. I also have said many many times on here, I do NOT support the shooter or the shooting. I DO support collecting ALL of the facts, as everyone should, if you really want justice. Justice isn't best served at the will of your conscience, but the will of the law; like it or not !

Again, you CANNOT take anything from me regarding the Honorable career I had, most, if not all of you posting here were not even born yet probably and have ZERO knowledge of how successful it was.

You express your thoughts and I express mine. Yours unfortunately have NO regard for the facts because you do NOT care about the facts, You lost a friend and in your way of thinking, she did NOTHING to have made it possible to prevent what happened.

We agree to disagree with that. One of those posting on here alluded that her mom felt similarly.( Not my words or posting ), but someone elses on here previously.

Again, you need not worry about crossing paths with me on the road, I am retired and quite happily ! Dealing with STUPIDITY and irresponsible people for 30 plus years has brought my thoughts where they are. You have NOT been in that position and CANNOT qualify anything beyond your small world thoughts. This is a Fact !

Learn to Obey the Law or be prepared to live a life of frustration and misery, its your choice. Life is all about choices, if we make the wrong one, we have to deal with it. Isnt it easier to make the right ones ? Maturity will help you with those decisions, hope you get there before you make the wrong ones !

Acceptance is 50 %, Behavior is the other 50 %. Best of luck to you and your friends !

I'll tell you a fact. Tyler said in his report that Samantha was trying to kill him. That is absurd.

I'll tell you another fact. There was no reason for him to jump on her hood. I suppose he saw too many movies.

You are NOT reading any argument from me, if he did what you say, he WILL have to answer for it. That's a Fact also....

De- escalate and no retaliation ? There is ONLY time for peace, give it a chance. Let there be a time for reflection and learning. If your friend were able, she would say the same, I would hope anyway. Far to much said, far too much anger and not enough " goodness " being spread and making life a better way and place for all !

We ALL MUST learn from our mistakes, isn't is about time ? Life is way too short without any intervention of any kind. Live life, Love one another, forgive each other and make this world a better place, if you can ?

007 out of control ANGER from FRUSTRATION and not from FEAR caused him to shoot her. She wasn't a mind reader nor did she react as he expected and for that be took her life. Now you have used your ANGER to browbeat anyone who doesn't assume the cop was justified by using some don't drink and drive campaign as a cover. Its obviously not about drinking or driving because Tyler sure didn't consider that when he jumped on her car and murdered her. Come down off your high horse with your false agenda, the gig is up. If you wanna hurt me pray for me Mr humanitarian.

Well, I guess since you have ALL the answers, we have NO need for due process in anything in this country. Just what we need, more IDIOTS like you.

Perhaps with your infinite wisdom, you should be sitting on the U.S. Supreme Court !

Are you really " For Real " ?? Certainly not, I do not want to believe anyone in this day is that stupid; please prove me wrong as say, you didn't really mean what you wrote ?
