That's an assumption on your part. I might ask, what branch of the service were you in and when ?

Mine was, U.S. Army, Military Police 1970-1974......... I look up to anyone who at least tried. Did you ?

007 I worked two yrs to get my great uncle his medals from his service in WWII huertgen Forrest stalag 9b pow benefits. I honored him w a military ceremony. The first thing he said was "momma do you think God will forgive me for all those people I killed" when he came home.

It was nice of you to do that for your family, its a shame it took that long to get what he should have had already. The Government is not the easiest organization to deal with and I will be the first to say, it does not treat its veterans as well as it should ! I requested a copy of my DD Form 214 two years ago and I still have not received it, nor heard anything from the office in St Louis that I requested it from.

I wont go on a government bashing tangent right now, but back to the point, I am not sure what all that has to do with the Officer in question. I have no idea what his circumstances were for not completing his tour or training and I highly doubt anyone on here would know that unless he personally shared it with them.

I saw many who struggled for many reasons in the military, it is not an easy assignment in life, especially under certain conditions. NOT everyone can be that person in life just like not everyone is going to be a mortician. Noone should judge that in anyone and call them a loser if they do not complete the training.

Far too many others in this country have never even tried to serve their country. One mentioned only poverty stricken people join the service. Where I think their reference was more directed at a belief from something they read ( heard it before also ), its not exactly true, and especially todays military. Regardless, I am not defending the officer / shooting, but I do take exception to anyone who attacks others who have either done or tried to do something good for this country. When we lose that belief and respect, we all lose !

On another note, one of my Uncles also was upset when he returned from the war, thinking he might have killed his own cousins ( German ). I am sure God has forgiven all servicemen who have asked for forgiveness. Just as God will for all others who believe and ask.

I have a solution to your problem and it is your problem, I have NO skin in this.

Instead of writing on here complaining and whining about alleged misconduct and or cover up that you have NO idea is being done yet, if at all; why don't you and your friends do something positive for your friend and her mom.

How about a fundraiser to hire and independent investigator who specializes in crime scene reconstruction ? Put your money where your mouth is and DO something positive for your friend and her mom !

Whining and complaining about all you think is wrong will never change, make a difference and do something positive ! Pool your friends resources and make it happen, I have seen this done many times in my lifetime. If you really care as much as you want me to believe, you will do this..... Right ?

Well its nice to know and..... obviously you missed a post some time back where I clearly indicated, policework today is done much different than in my day..... No problem with your comment, you just failed to acknowledge a pertinent comment I made also.

Continue on with your mission, mine never started with the intent to be as offensive, but yes, this is a sensitive topic. So sensitive to even me, one who does place a high value on life and have a proven track record of it with those who have known me for many many years.

You see, I have lost many friends and " brothers " over the course of my career and life. I do understand " anger " . Through all of those career oriented losses, there was something to be learned, something that HAD to change, if there was any good to come out of their deaths. and YES, 2 close friends were EXECUTED, just as others have said on here. Difference being, they were defending others , doing their jobs and there was NO questioning that. They were not running from the law, they were doing their job that the taxpayers paid them to be doing. I am sure there will be those now who will take advantage of this information I shared and turn it all around and make idiotic and stupid comments.

Not to worry, I would expect no less, I understand two things very clearly. I am dealing with kids and I am dealing with those who have not worked through their anger yet.

I have worked through mine and wont be the least bit bothered by any negative comments about my friends. They have been and are honored by those who matter.

I only bring this up because I have been down this road a few times and understand and accept, anger is a Bad Thing to hold on to. I have many reasons to have it. If this is your first experience with something like this and I suspect it is for most, I hope you don't have to ever experience it again. Changes in attitudes and behaviors are necessary.

Slinging mud wont facilitate that for anyone. Remember Samantha's mom tomorrow and moreso, you own mother !

I should have been a bit more specific,,,,,,, IGNORANCE is also a Bad Thing to hold on to. You probably have NO clue what a Nazi even was or about beyond what you see and read with these stupid young kids running around with Tatts on their body and from other countries making a half ass effort at being the likeness of one.......
Kids,,,,,,, parents keep a closer eyes on them, they need more guidance. Or is that the problem, too many parents are still kids themselves ?

YOU aren't talking to a child. You don't need to tell me to remember Sam's mom when I brought it up to you first to remember her! You are offensive you have been very offensive. You can not be objective because you want to boil this down to kids and respect. When its about officers their "how dare you disrespect me I'm GOD JR with a badge. Your post have helped prove that point.

car007 said nothing about this post because these are closer to his actual beliefs... hates children... hates women... perfect combo for him and his irrational bias towards all those who wear uniforms and badges all over the world. Hugo Boss designed some fancy uniforms for them Storm Troopers... and how does car007 admire them!

You are but a child, yes indeed ! I have been extremely objective and you haven't even come close which leads me to believe, you do not know what being objective is.... Again, proof positive you are a child in how you think and act.... Supporting those who were at that bash in the woods along the river, is proof positive you are a kid . Enough said, the proof is al over this topix board and right from you !

Again, this comment is proof positive, you are kids who refuse to grow up. You are kids who cannot handle your behavior, you are kids who cannot handle the substances you drink or otherwise ingest How incredibly stupid of you to write such a comment for any reason. I am not sure you could have written anything that would have made you look more stupid and just like an out of control kid. Great Job at proving my point !.

The unfortunate circumstance is, you really are too stupid to understand just how kidlike stupid that comment was by you !

NOT trying to justify any abuse by any law enforcement. I have already stated my position, regardless of how anyone wants to believe.

But, to follow your logic on the cases you find on the internet and use as reference material for your feelings, I I have a few questions.

Have you ever heard of bad doctors, lawyers, financial consultants, politicians ? There are many of them out there. They too deal with the public on a daily basis. Have you ever done any research on how many doctors have been sued for wrongful death of a patient. I can assure you there are many. Point being, if you compare the number of contacts a police officer or a doctor has with the public each day, you will find the percentage of complaints is very miniscule. That tells those who have the ability to understand logic, the greater percentage of police officers and doctors are not as bad as you have suggested, specifically the police.

It NEVER ceases to amaze me that the people who complain the loudest and most often about the police, are the FIRST to call them when they have been done wrong by someone. Of course, there is no one else to call who cares enough to help you or might be willing to help you. Police Officers are NOT perfect, but nor is anyone else.

If you feel as strongly as you want me to believe on here, whats keeping you from doing something to make the system better ? If all cops are so bad, why don't you and those who think as you do, step up and become Police Officers and help change the world you live in ?

If the Officer is determined to have made a mistake, I can assure you it is NOT because he was a coward. Did he have fear, I believe that might be possible. Your usage of the word Coward makes no sense to me. His reactions were not even close to what a coward would have done. A coward would have run away or ignored his duty.

A coward is someone who sits back and runs his mouth online and doesn't step up and do something positive to make a difference. Hiding behind a computer and making threats is as much a Coward as could ever be. That is your way of feeling empowered because you haven't got what it takes to do anything more. Pitiful Gutless Human Beings !

I read of bad cops on almost a daily basis simply by reading the tristate news for my area. I don't look for it. I believe certain dispositions are attracted to certain lines of work. I believe most male hairdressers are probably gay. I believe those who want to help others often become emt's, nurses, or doctors. It is very evident that bullies gravitate to low paying police jobs. Granted there are exceptions to every rule.
Of the two officers who appeared at the following scene it is evident one is a criminal and one is an enabler. Both are bad cops.
http://www.wlwt.com/news/harrison-man-sues-sh...

There is no doubt in my mind that if you are not a criminal you are an enabler simply by being an apologist for criminal behavior by cops.
