I predict Mitt will still come out ahead in Iowa and New Hampshire. I am no prophet, but I believe in the people of Iowa and New Hampshire and their ability to see through this liberal-issued crap and support the incredibly qualified and integritous candidate Mitt is.

It is no surpise that Mitt's enemies are going after his character. After all, that is his biggest advantage over any of them.

I've met Mitt Romney in person, and he is both humble and qualified.

Mitt has no character. His only agenda is getting elected. That's why he's spent his entire political career flip flopping on the issues. He seems very unstable.

What a shame...

Did you notice that the same paper that showed Romney's "numbers were slipping in the Northeast " is the same paper who just endorsed John McCain.

And now going negative means stating facts that are part of the public record.

The Romney implosion has started. I've written about Romney's flip-flops on the Bush tax cuts & abortion here:

Credibility matters, something in extremely short supply in the Romney campaign right now.

Jed, Mitt Romney won't win Iowa. ARTLA started running a devastating ad Friday that uses Mitt's own words to highlight his shifting positions on abortion since 2004.

It's reasonable to think that that's gotta hurt since 40% of Iowa's Republican caucusgoers are evangelical Christians.

They'll run the same ad in South Carolina & other Bible Belts states, which all but mathematically eliminates him from getting the nomination.

"The Romney campaign dismissed the editorial board as "a liberal one on many issues" that disagreed with a number of Romney's conservative views. "

That's their answer to an accusation ? Geeeze Mitt , howe dunmb do u thinmk wee R ?

I notice that the anti Mitt types run genarally run between anti mormon bigots, to the flip-flop accusers with nothing better to say because the real issues elude them. The evangelicals who support Huckabee will try and have you believe he is the devil himself, while turning a blind eye to the hypocrisy of their own candidates short comings as both a public leader and a moral man.If you want to know who the dems want to win GOP nomination, it will be who their cronies in the media are told give a pass on everything, namely Huckabee.

I applaud the Concord Monitor newspaper in New Hampshire, which ran an anti-endorsement editorial calling Romney a "phony" who "most surely must be stopped."

Like I can trust the numbers that the boston globe publishes, last week they announced their endorsement of McCain and Obama.

Sounds like they're just trying to push their own agenda.

The only thing Huckabee wants you to think is that he is some how qualified to be president because he used to be a baptist minister and is a so called true "Christian Leader".

Look through his "Awe Schucks" act and see him for what he really is. Mike Huckabee is a wolf in sheep's clothing that uses the religion card to push his own agenda.

Romney kept his word to the voters of Mass. That is far more important than the smoke blowing from the Concord Monitor. It is also a much better indicator of character. This guy will make a great President.

BYU undergrad honors, Harvard Law School graduate, Harvard Business School Graduate, fluent in French, a highly successful turn-around manager of failed enterprises, a great governor, a strong family man, and a man of compassion. Some years ago, the daughter of one of Romney's friends went missing in New York City. Romney shut his business down, and all the employees of the company went to New York City to look for her. He set up a command center and directed the search. Thankfully, they found her.

It would be a rare person who would shut his business down to help a friend. I read about this in Newsweek, and it made a great impression on me.

The media wants Huckabee to win so badly. They know he is unelectable. Hillary is most concerned about Romney, then McCain. Huckabee can't even win Utah and Idaho anymore after is bigoted comments about the Church of
Jesus Christ.

Before voting for Romney, use due diligence, and investigate and analyze all of their beliefs. The Mormon Cult Sect doesn't want anyone to review the facts about their weirdo so-called faith; buried golden tablets, magical underwear, living on other planets, becoming gods themselves, baptism for other religion's dead ( including Jewish), after death having over 100 wifes (sounds like the terrorist beliefs in Iraq), their false prophet Hinckley having revelations from God, teachings that God currently inhabits a actual physical body, not being permitted to think for themselves apart from the group, and only accept what they are told by their Sect elders, and that all non-mormons (they call us Gentiles) will go to Hades. While Mormons share some beliefs with Christians, they are not Christians, and have perverted Christian teachings to create a false religion, with false prophecies and false teachings.
Even the actor Robert Redford, who has lived in Park City, UT, for over a decade, has spoken out on Mitt Romney and Mormons. "(Mormons) are very adept at not being fazed and speaking fluently and gracefully. Why? Because every single male who's a Mormon goes on a mission for two years when they're 19 or 20.... They learn how to deflect blows and stay on message. No wonder Utah is the place that all these Republican senators go. It's perfect. So when you see Mitt Romney, he's already practicing how to deflect blows and stay on message. But it's plastic."
Romney has back himself into a corner--insisting that religion should play a role in politics, and yet insisting that his religion should not be examined. The secretive Sect made a last ditch effort, not be be questioned, by saying no religious "litmus" test should exist, and thus Romney would not be open to answer or reveal any specific questions on his faith. Forget about it, Mitt, "Silence will NOT be a option."
If you want a "brain-washed", "mind-controlled", "puppet" President, then by all means, vote for Williard (Mitt) Romney.

Being a non-mormon living in Utah, I can only say that there is no separation of church and state. "The church" has already endorsed Romney with millions of dollars. Even if it has not come officially from the church, it is coming from mormons told to give to Romney. To think that "the church" would not dictate national politics if he was elected is naive. Have you noticed that all of the comments from people in Utah have supported Romney to the hilt? They are told how to vote by the church and cannot think for themselves.

Wow! The anti-mormon bigots are out in full force today! Interesting, how these bigots can claim to know anything Romney or his church afflication, when they spew out misinformation, blatant lies and unsupported inuendueo regarding Mitt and his faith. How sad to see how low these religious bigots are will to going in order to garner a few votes! If you want to know the TRUTH about Mitt or his religion, talk to a Mormon Missionary or member of the Mormon church, instead of listening to the constant anti-mormon diatribe from simpletons with political agendas. As for Romney, his personal, professional, moral and ethical charater far exceeds that of any other GOP contender. Facts that cannot be disputed!

When a candidate is pro-choice because it is necessary to be such to win (Massachusetts - Democratic state) and once elected becomes pro-life because that is necessary to win the next position (Republican Presidential nominee), then one needs to question the authenticity in Mr. Romney’s purported convictions. Like the authenticity of being a "hunter" when it appeases the constituency at-hand.

As for those convictions, Mr. Romney hangs his hat on his so-called reputable business record; I implore the people/press to look under the hood on that record and review the questions below... particularly with his dealings for Marriott, Sodexho Marriott, Damon Co, Bain, and others.

Is that record so good merely because of all the money that was made? At what cost to others?

Are tax-sheltered offshore accounts used by Bain?

Are all those jobs created at Dominos, Staples, Sodexho Marriott and Marriott, Sports Authority, and others actually the ones that help society in general - the positions paying $8-10/hr? Were unions obstructed in any of these workplaces?

Did these employers above have a record of diversity & inclusion, as well as fair employment principles when Mr. Romney was an officer?

The Dept of Justice US Attorney in Wilmington DE has declined, for years, to prosecute 27 acts of perjury (admitted false affidavits) by the Law firms of MNAT and TBF in the $300 million fraud issues of eToys.
Bain, owned by Mitt Romney in 2001, when the fraud and perjuy in eToys benefited Bain has not even been sniffed at, by the DOJ.
Now it is learned that Colm F Connolly, the US Attorney for Delaware, whose office has stated no case, no investigation and no charges has his own conflict of interest issues.
For Colm F Connolly was a partner at MNAT in 2001 and may have even worked on the Bain, eToys or other connected cases before he became a US Attorney in the latter part of 2001.
