Yep, my dad owned it back in the 70's

It was called CANDY KITCNEN before that .It was in the
Bohl Plumbing building

There used to be a lot of bars in Auburn, and they always had people in them!
Whiskey Run
Big Daddy's (now Hickory Road)
The Watering Hole
Southside
And wasn't there one other on the southside that Nabb's owned, what was that called?

The bars still have people in them all the time. I never drive by that there aren't cars outside.

Bea's Tavern used to be where Southside is located now. If I remember correctly there used to be a place on the west side of Courthouse Square called the Blackbird or something.

It was owned by Tom and Joanie Nabb. It was called the White-Blackbird. The Waterhole was a great place. I use to work there.

No Nabb's owned Bea's which is now Southside.
The hamburgers at Bea's were to die for.

The White Blackbird was on west side of the square, where Serendipity is, and it use to be Carm's place, The williams owned. The good old days!

Auburn Residents must be proud of this pointless,
and useless website were people get on here and hurt others,ruin peoples lives by spreading false rumors,is this what your community is all about?
all of you must be bored and have no meaning in your lives to set behind your computers everyday
and post these things about other people,what a life you all have and talk about setting good examples for our children all I can say is that all of you are weak and someday you will all have to answer to the one above to why you did this.

Apparently they do not teach English in Nebraska City schools. Either that or you went to school in Auburn. You say we talk badly about other people, and yet here you are, talking badly about all of us. That makes you a fool and a hypocrite. By the way, I'm sure God could care less what's said on Topix. He has a universe to run.

Are you sure? Nabb's lived above the Blackbird. And all of this time I thought that an older lady named Bea owned Bea's back in the 80's - early 90's which is when the Blackbird would have been around.....

Yes, Bea owned what is now Southside. At the time it was Bea's Tavern. She still lives next door.
