About 400 sex offenders to be transferred to New Castle Correction Facility

Around 400 prisoners are headed to the New Castle Correctional Facility. Prison officials said that nearly all of them are convicted sex offenders.

400 SEX OFFENDERS! YES, that makes headlines..It scares the general public. It spends more of our tax dollars to keep ALL of those 400 SEX OFFENDERS listed.. Lets get real and put our power where it needs to be.... Keeping track of violent offenders, child molesters and preditors.What we need to know is how many of those offenders were 18 year old boys in troubl with their 17 year old girlfriends,because many of the men who must register as sex offenders are just that or possibly inappropiate conduct with a minor.. I want to know and keep track of those that would actually threaten me or mine or the neighbors kids etc.

not all sex offenders are that bad you need to realize that tings change and they night not have them same feelings they did when they did it i have many friends who are and i do not think different of them for their mistakes...

Yea, an 18 year old who had sex with his 16 year old sweetheart and went to jail for statutory rape is exactly the same as a man who rapes a child and kills her when he's done.

a mistake is getting married and then realizing you made a mistake or buying that house you just have to have and can't afford it not molesting a child. if things were right there would be the death penality for such an act. most children who have been molested have problems all their life so that is just as bad as taking their life. and a lot become molesters themselves. if not kill the molesters put them in jail with a big 7 footer that just loves to throw his weight around. the BIBLE says it is better to have a millstone tied around your neck and thrown into the sea than to hurt one of his little ones. that verse says it all. no excuse.

In December 2006, a 4-year-old boy in Waco, Tex., was punished with an in-school suspension after a Adult female accused him of sexual harassment

I met my fiance 2 years ago and knew right away he would never have done what he was convicted of. At the time he was living with a woman who was bi-polar and about 15 years younger than him. She used him for all he was worth, and found a new boyfriend. To be able to get rid of her old boyfriend and keep all his stuff she and her ex-husband made thier daughter lie to the cops(which were related to the bipolar) She got everything she wanted, but doesn't realize the consequences she will face someday for making her daughter lie like that... There aren't just guilty men in prison, justice is blind...

Judging one sex offender is just like another is totally prejudice. We all have our judgement day and only the Lord himself is worthy of judging others. I do not in anyway shape or form feel that sexual acts should be preformed on anyone under the age of 18-16 but the simple fact is that, there are people out there that have some seriously damaged ideas about sex. Prison will not change them, they need a serious fix. If there is a case in which DNA can prove it, or some other damning evidence is found, I feel strongly that they should be put into a mental institution away from any children, and be given counceling and medication until their dying day.

The guy im in love with is in new castle prison right now. He was 18 when he was charged with sexual assault. He had sex with a 16 yr. old. He is a really good person. We should be putting child predetors in prison not teenagers havin sex. i read all these comments and this is ridiculous!!! If these guys r in prison where are the actual guys that molest little girls and boys. Probably living next to us!

All that is true I have a god father that was acused of child molesting on 3 counts. He received 2years, 2years, and 1year. He served 18 months. I have a friend who when he was 18 had sex with a 16 year old and he got 8 years and he is doing the whole 8 years. So who exactly makes the laws and rules concerning all this?

Sure I would, you fail to realize the reality of sex offender laws. Remember streaking? It's now a sex offender crime. Lets say you are 20 and shove a 15 year old in a beef, that' sex offender crime. Let's say your 20 and your GF is 17 that's child molestation, forever it will say you had sex with a child, even when your 50 the girl will still be a child of unknown age. the percentage of actual perverts on the list is minuscule.

You know I can not believe how many people are so closed minded on this topic. To actually think that a child molestor of any kind whether it be two teenagers having sex or some perbert having his way with some innocent little child is all the same that is rediculous their crimes can not even compare it's just a rediculous lable to put on young man having consenual sex with some young girl who has probable lied about her age and has more than one guy in prison. NO all sex offenders are not the same some of them really did it and some didnt like my brother. he got in trouble 1 time for his 16 year old girlfriend and he was 20 got out of that 1 then he got accused of doing it with that gurls neice who was 12 and because of his first incident he got in trouble and is now seving time. before i judge offenders i find out their situation cuz my brother is totally innocent so hes locked up for no reason at all he cant even meet his 3 month old nephew. if u think other wise text back i will have it out with u 2. dont judge if u dont know..

I dont think that anyone should be judged. Yes, people are wrong for what they do. And there is no excuse for most of them, but that doesnt mean they are bad peope. My father was put in prison for sleeping with a 15 year old, he got 30 years in prison. there are people out there that molest 3 year olds and file they are not mentally challenged and do 1-2 years. thats not right. people do change. Mayeb not all of them, but dont look at everyone the same! Not one person is the same as another one.
