There have been a number of us who have offered similar suggestions as well; yet we still read the continued venting posts. I wish the neighbors well.

The Party House was open for Underage Drinking, Etc right through the storm and aftermath.... Before the storm their vinyl siding was pealing off the house, I'm sure they will now claim it was storm damage, we the tax payers will be paying for their house to have new siding installed. I hope other residents have had enough of this situation and are ready to get togethere and report whats going on to the Cheif of Police and or the Mayor.

I agree -- You don't need to step up on this board (for all we know, you could be giving a fake name/address). But go step up to the police and local officials!

They have been calling & informing the Sayreville Police multiple times, the police have responed there 5 times that I know of, and they know whats taking place... The people complaining are not making it up, its a fact! What I've heard is that they are being watched by the PD, it takes time to build a case! I feel for the pepole around them, the noise from the cars, and the constant traffic in & out of their property and the illgal going ons has become nerve racking. Maybe (A MAN) would like this situation going next to his home!

Maybe (A MAN) would like this situation going next to his home! I don't mean to sound insensitive. I've had issues with disruptive neighbors, though I have to say luckily not as bad as what the Patton Dr. residents are facing. It can be a major PITA. I sympathize with you and your neighbors. But that's why I stress that the best way to fix the problem is to take your complaining and turn it up a notch (or two). Unfortunately, the police often follow the path of least resistance and won't do much unless they're pressed into making this a priority. They will only make it a priority if they face political pressure or if they see that complaints from this house consume a significant amount of their resources. If this house is a major disruption for the neighborhood, residents should take a zero tolerance stand and call the police immediately each time any minor (LEGITIMATE) disruption happens. The police are obligated to respond to each call. If they respond to 5 calls over six months, they won't do much more. If the SPD has to spend significant time and money resources answering to 5 LEGITIMATE calls every week about this house, they will realize that they need to take additional actions. If there is a meeting with the local councilperson or chief of police listing all the issues neighbors face, they will be pressured to add more resources to address the problem. My point is be prepared to take it up one or more notches until you get action. Stewing about this at home or venting on this bulletin board won't get you help. The statement of "taking time to build a case" sounds like "lip service" for not doing much. We are not talking about a major organized crime operation -- just a bunch of inconsiderate people being disruptive to all their neighbors. They don't need to build a case. Best of luck to you!

Here we go again, nightly drinking parties in the garage. Street congested with teenage cars, underage drinking, and the late night noise from their shit box cars... The boy parties every night guess dropping out of high school, drinking and not holding a job makes mommy proud! He’s headed in the direction of looser; he’ll be another leach on the system.

Heard from someone that the PD are planning to raid the Party Garage new years eve, they suspect there will be a large group of underage drinkers & drug use. They have been watching and taking plates of the cars parking and the amount of teenagers coming and going from the property on a daily basis.

Does anyone know what time the police will be coming over? Come on, what's the point of publicly announcing this? It won't be much of a raid if the residents are expecting it!

ridiculous. other than the silly ass exhausts on the cars these kids aren't bothering no one. if you really want to do something call the PD. if called they have to stop by. they have to stop by. they have to stop by. then the kid will get the hint or at least those who go over there will be reluctant to drive out of there drunk.

They don’t get the message, the police have been there multiple times, the son was arrested, and they have been warned about the noise & underage drinking. The kids attending the nightly drink fests constantly chances. The garage has become an underage bar, the noise, traffic and teenage cars parking all over the street has become a problem. The drinking takes place 7-days a week. It’s getting old. The mother has allowed her property to become a safe haven for underage drinking & drug usage. Nobody would have problem with parties on weekends but 7-days a week is ridiculous and shows no consideration for their neighbors. Vehicles coming and going all night long, speeding up & down the street. We get no rest…. The mother is the real problem she needs to provide some parental control over the situation. Instead she encourages this reckless behavior. Sooner or later one of them is going to leave intoxicated and cause a motor vehicle accident then she will be held liable. Maybe then she will wake-up and act as an adult.

Got that right, she will be legally liable! Its sad to see parents with no sense of responsibility for the actions of their children.

he's dealing drugs out of the house allright. i am finding little drug baggies all over the street. kid is a punk. local PD was out there in force last night. 7 or so police cars. this kid and the crew he is running with are soon to learn a hard lesson. what these people fail to realize is that people can see what they are up to. they think they are slick.

That’s correct she will be held legally liable for anyone leaving her property under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances if they have a motor vehicle accident. With the amount of teenagers coming and going under the influence it’s only a matter of time before one of them causes a motor vehicle accident.
