Funny how noone has mentioned that Dean Jr isn't with us anymore. Damn shame. He done some questionable shit, but, I thought he was cool. Last time I saw him, we were all out patrying at Minnith creek. Shortly after that, was when he went to his last party. Sad.

I'm not sure which "dean novak" you're talking about here, but dean novak jr. is my brother and if you're gonna talk smack on someone dont post it over the internet, its pathetic, do it in person. since my brother died in '04, i think you are suggesting that dean novak sr. is the one who drove into your house. there's a difference, sr. and jr., not the same person. considering that one is alive and the other isn't, posting things on the internet without full detail of the situation or subject is justifiable cause for some things to be said that you didnt know or didnt think were going to be talked about. i didn't know dean sr. that well. so i can't contribute anything about him, but to those of you who were wondering about my brother i can tell you more information on what really happened.
three people died from drug related deaths, one of which was my brother dean, the others were michelle welty and dwayne hill. six different people were arrested on drug related offenses, one of the arrested persons was michelle's dad for trying remove evidence from his daughters room. all of the victims(dean, michelle, and dwayne) were at the same party the night before they died. they did an autopsy on my brother dean, and revealed the presence of OxyContin, hydrocodone (both narcotic pain relievers) and Citalopram, which is also known as Celexa, used to treat depression. OxyContin was the main cause of death. he died peacefully in his bed asleep, he was 19. michelle died of lethal doses of OxyContin and she too died peacefully in her sleep at 35. dwayne died from a seizure caused by his abuse of cocaine and was found in a field beside TG, he was 29.
I hope that cleared up some of the confusion any of you had about the events said on this forum.
My brother was a great guy, he was always had my back when ever i needed him. he did make a few wrong choices in his shortly lived life, but he made a lot of right ones too. i never judged him on any of the wrong ones, but instead learned from his past and hoped for a better future. im glad to say that in the last few months of his life he was really straightening out, he stopped going out and partying it up, instead he started going to church and singing in the choir which i hear he quite enjoyed. he just fell back into his old habits there at the end. im not sure what the exact events led up to his death, but i do know that his death was accidental, it was a wrong choice to go to that party and do whatever it was he did there, but i am not mad at him for relapsing back into his old habits. he is my big brother i will love him no matter what. i do miss him, you have no idea how much, but he's in a better place now, and i'll see him again one day and that's all that matters. in the few days leading up to the fateful night i got to talk to my brother one last time, he called to ask what day would it be okay for him to come by and give me my birthday gifts, we figured out the date and time that worked best for us, said our final goodbyes. and that was it..or so i thought. it is now almost exactly six years later, and about four of five months ago i received my birthday presents with a sealed card from my brother, opening my gifts and reading that card were the saddest, hardest, happiest moments of my life, and THAT is saying something. i've been through hell and back so many times its not funny. life is hard and sometimes there are obstacles some you cant avoid and you trip and fall over them others you glide gracefully past. but live every moment if your life to the fullest because you never know which moment could be your last. i believe that this is how my brother lived his life and im glad to know i have him with me the rest of my life watching over me and that he still has my back no matter what.

Mirranda, I've not seen you in years! You sound as you've grown into a very smart and respectable young woman. Dean always loved you more than anything. I'm sorry that you've had to endure not only the loss of your big brother, but everything else you've had to go through in your young life. You are right to learn from the mistakes of others and live your life to the fullest. Good Luck to you Mirranda!

So you assume that people whose families dont care about them and werent raised right thats why they turn to drugs. Get a life, my brother turned to drugs and my mom and dad cares about him and we were all raised not to do that sh!t. Sometimes the world and peer pressure and our curiosity get the best of us, has nothing to do with our parents jobs raising us. I can tell you what when I was in high school everyone thought everything of the jocks and preps but they were the biggest users there were, but I guess that was the parents faults as well. You have no idea what goes on behind closed doors so you should not judge!
And Dean Novack Jr. may have been into drugs but he was one of the nicest caring people there was. He would have done anything for anyone in need. RIP buddy.

I too lost my best friend, father of my two children, my soulmate, my rock. Yes, in a matter of four hours, gone. Miranda, u dont know me but babygirl, u were so young! Just a small child, i knew ur mother also, people who speak upon a deadman arent shit, miserable human beings, who ought to wonder what the good lord will say to them at the pearly gates of heaven. How old r u now? Wow, honestly havent thought of lil dean lately, but my love, was also an addict and yet he worked his ass off, paid his bills, great daddy, he too had his one last party, he went very peacefully too, u seem to have a very good head on ur shoulders, keep it up! Remember one thing, ur brother died of a disease,(addiction) not cause he was ready, he had alot of life in him and everyone knew that! lol
