.05 cents every 3 months, a .15 yearly raise for operators, a .30 cent raise for leads. but most don't want to work hard enough to advance beyond having a minimal job so they only see the nickel raises. Seems lately everyone who shows up wants a job for the check but don't want to do any work to prove themselves worth their salt. I have nearly 10 years at GML, It's what you make of it, I moved to an operator position within 9 months of hiring on, moved up to lead at 21 months, I make a decent living, I'll not get rich but my bills get paid and I'm content. People can talk all they want against the place, but if it weren't for GML Nickels Perryville's economy would all but dry up.
You have been there ten years and still don't know that the pay raise scale is given over an 18 month period? You ever read the memorandoms that come out about those raises? Seems as though you would be paying a little bit more attention being you are a lead.

I am, I misspoke earlier you are correct it is based on an 18 month cycle. and that along with the nickels still pays better than most jobs in this county. I wasn't trying to brag or anything I was just stating I am content with what I make for the work I do. I just didn't want the person saying "A nickel?" thinking that was a yearly cost of living type increase..I thank God that I have a job that allows me to support my family. Have a great 2013.

Sucks when you have had a position for a few years then they promote someone who has less than half the time you have there and they are making almost as much as you are... give or take 10 or 15 cents....

i will take the nickle the dime and the 15 cents raise, it average out to almost 60 cents every yr and 1/2, im just glad i have a job, insurance, paid holidays, birthday pay, p.d. and its the only place i kno that most people can collect a pay check and not actually earn it. no complaints here!!!

I did quit, and way better off, thank God. New job after 2 years pays better than 5 years as an operator at gilster.
