Gilster NEVER closes. They could give a shit less about their employees. They don't care what the weather conditions are... they expect u to be there, while the bosses stay home.

I happen to like my job there and we get a lot of time off other than just Saturday and Sunday like other jobs. There's not a hard job there soooo if you don't like it just quit! I am sure workforce has plenty of people that would be greatful to have your job!

I work there too, and being tired all the time from shift change sux. Not being home half the time to see my kids sux too. I am looking for another job. You must really eat up the baby batter from the formen if you like there.

Good luck with your job hunt. I have worked at a few factories and GML is not that bad. You have to like the swing shift to be able to work it, but did you not know it was a rotating swing shift when you took the job? How ignorant to think that someone must "really be eating up the baby batter" just because they like their job and you don't! Like I said good luck in your job hunt as I'm sure they will have no problem at all replacing you with a good hard working employee.. As a matter of fact I know someone wanting a job there right now... So let me know when you're leaving so they can get the job...

As a matter of fact no I'm on manufacturing B. other than the swing shift aspect there's not a hard job out there. Yes hot as hell in the summer but there's no real physical or manual labor there. They move guys up fairly fast if they have half a brain show initiative and don't miss a lot of work its very easy to become a operator or Leadman and do a whole lot of nothing and get paid for it.

Folks move up the ladder fast because no one sticks around long. Or be token with Jeff. Or the girls are flirting with him or keep him posted what people are doing or talking about. Two lead people only got their positions because others quit. Jeff hates one of them, but no one else wanted to deal with office bs. That says alot.
