We tried it last nite. The food was awesome!!! Only thing is that the wait was a little long. I ordered takeout and it was ready in about 40 minutes. Customers that were dining in were told there was a 30-45 minute wait. I just chaulk this up to growing pains...I imagine after they get everything lined out business will boom.....GOOD LUCK TO THEM!!!

it is a little pricey, & they have to start putting more meat on the sandwichs, The loaded baked potato needs more loading. Flavor is good.

I for one have eaten their food twice now and it is amazing. The ribs are the best I've had in semo. The pulled pork is tender and full of flavor. As far as the price goes, it's comparable to any BBQ place. I didn't think it was overpriced at all. If you're expecting to pay the price of buger king then go eat at Buger king but if you want a good meal at a reasonable price then try double barrel.

I'm sure the BBQ is really good, however if you pay that much for a meal it should fill you up, and from what I've heard from some of my friends that have tried it you don't get your moneys worth. There are plenty of BBQ places in semo that you pay less for delicious food and get a large helping of food (at least enough to fill you up).

went there for lunch thursday.
1. no parking
2. very unorganised
3. food was not that good and cold.
4. very over priced for what you get.

I hope they can get things worked out we need a good resturant in town.

I will try it again.
not wanting to offend, been there done that wish more people would have told me.

Carried out the first time. You definitely don't get what you pay for ! Thought we would dine in the next. We got there at 4:00 and it wasn't busy, but took 20 minutes for their loaded bake potato and pull pork. Second time being out of brisket. It was cold and it is so noisy. Cristy is so noisy and obnoxious. She is rude and not nice. She will run his business to the ground. Parking is terrible, too. Hard area to get on and off of St. Joe. Having a BBQ joint on a corner is not going to make it in this small town. When the newness is gone, and the spring is here, who is going to go back ? Are you ? I didn't think so.

No business has ever lasted there. It is very bad location, hard to get back on the road. Don't know why they don't allow to go out the back. Probably a stupid Perryville city ordinance.

I think it has to do with Jungle Gem pets. I am not sure though. He won't make it. Like you said, nothing there has.

I myself do not mind paying for something if it is worth it! I hope that it all goes over well and stays open because Perryville needs this.

The owners need to take a few trips to Calier's in Sainte Genevieve to get an idea what food joint should be.
