i dont think its a good idea at all. there is no way to know what gangs will show up. Im not in favor of this for our community. there are things that could be done besides a biker rally.

Okay realtreegal, I'm sure your just sticking up for your man so he can attempt to get a bada*s/superior image in Perryville again. He will always be a loser and hated by the public! No matter how happy you two look in the public eye, we all still know that Andy is a shemale druggie and nothing other than that. Bikers on the Square will just facilitate the drug distribution in this town as his friends are only that, not real bikers. There will be no real bikers, only his wanna be's. Oh and you are just a big of loser as he is.
you are stupid

I'd trust my life with bikers far more readily than with some of the so-called respectable people of this town, who look neat, are dressed well, who will walk into your home when your back is turned and steal your belongings.

Bikers being aggressive is a myth that originated in movies--it's BS. These people do far more good than harm. That's more that can be said for most people.

We could hang people for not fitting into society's norm! And sell tickets!

afraid that I'm not with Andy although I do know him and think he's an ok person but don't assume anything about me like you know me. I have a father who rode a Harley and rode true and hard thru his biker days and attended the biker rallies in old Appleton when they had them i still wear his shirts their are others that still ride in my life and I to want my own bike just because I think granny mcfee that posted this or geezer that's scared of some bikers having a place to hang for a few hours the hells angels are not gonna rape them but like I said if they feel unsafe grab the Holly word put ur head between your leggs kiss your butt good by and pray. Its harmless and a place to share the love of freedom on a bike and open road.. don't judge before you know a person......it makes an a$$ out of you as you already did by thinking you know me I'm not Andy's gf I haven't talked to him in almost 3+years

Are you scared of motorcycles? What's the difference between bikers on the square, Mayfest , and the seminary picnic? The answer....Motorcycles

I'm not really disagreeing with anything you're saying, but, a guy who rides a few miles to a rally once a year that's only a few miles away, well, that's not a biker. Try riding all year, in all weather. Not just to attend a rally, but to go anywhere for whatever reason.
Now it seems only the HA's have been mentioned here. Someone I guess is scared of them and thinks they'll come pillage the town? Missouri is not a 81 state. When talking 1% clubs, Missouri is dominantly held by GGMC and EFMC. There are other 1% and minion clubs present, but scarce. I wouldn't be afraid of HA's, but that's just me. I'm around them a lot and it's no different then being around your friends. To a degree lol. Or other clubs for that matter. Show respect, get respect.
You guys are just paranoid or don't like something you don't understand. Anyway, if you ride, keep your knees in the wind and the sun at your back.

you think bikers are a bad idea I'm sure most of the drug dealers in this town are to poor to buy a motercycle do u not see bikers on the square is to raise money for charity it is being ran by the eagles bc u know all the retired people riding bikes is part of a biker gang I'm sorry I don't think a criminal biker is going to go to a charity event haha I don't see why your so worried I think you just need to get your head out your a$$ and realize things are not always like they are on tv

well thanks for agreeing but idk how o got lumped in with Andy I have nothing to do with him I only pointed out that I am not dating him and hells angels was just an example of a well known biker gang some people take things to serious and some need to keep their noses to themselves not meaning you you might just make others see the facts it's a harmless event and very unlikely that any "gang" will ride into small perryville and cause a problem. Just paranoid people being in someone.else's business which won't even effect them.

The City of Perryville, Chamber, Perry County and many others have worked really hard to pull this event together. They meet almost weekly to brainstorm on promotions, vendors, events and sponsors. Visit their Facebook page you'll see they are sponsored by locally owned businesses that understand when you bring people into your community for an event they tend to leave a lot of money behind. The day will begin with a blessing of the bikes and a Vietnam Veteran parade of bikes, but I completely understand how frightening that all sounds:/ This has been planned as a family friendly, community enriching event. I suspect if any trouble arises it will come from the locals not the visitors.

So this means the city of perryville will be responsible for anyone who is drunk and disorderly. Fight one perryville
It is primarily being held in within the jurisdiction of the City of Perryville Police Department so should criminal behavior occur, they would most likely take lead. But if an individual breaks the law, they are the responsible party(the individual). Your 'Fight one perryville' comment is unclear; however you may be making my point about the locals being the problem.
