I hope that the people that screamed "the government isn't doing enough!" after Katrina realize what they accomplished.

Bush, Congress and the rest of the vote-buyers flung handfuls of OUR MONEY at anybody that could say "Katrina" because the media was painting anybody that didn't as heartless.

So we bought millions of dollars of trailers that didn't get used, paid bums to live in hotels for over a year, subsidized strip joint trips in Houston.

And to this day folks blame Bush for not doing enough. How about this-- if you get knocked down, STAND UP AGAIN. Don't wait for a government program to save your butt. True Americans have been doing that for centuries (e. g. Great Depression).

This ties in-- ArkansasAndy, the American Indians don't need another "nice gesture". They need to be kicked off the reservation, given enough money to survive for ONE YEAR, then it's up to them. We've been propping up the reservations for so long that we've created a society of dependency (85% unemployment!). See what happens when you remove HUNGER as a motive?

Let the people who can use the trailers be able to buy them.Instead of let our ,&the trailers just set &bog in mud . stop paying 25000.00 a month for trailers not good enough for the people in Louisiana,we will take them ,and put them to good use .I have 3 adult kids that could use one of the trailers & they would be glad to get it.

Last year we won an auction on the GSA web site for a trailer. You need to be careful and do your research. Some have been destroyed (holes in walls, doors torn off, cigarette burn holes on the walls and ceilings)and others have been carefully used and need just minor work. There are some in pristine condition. GSA does a great job describing the condition of the units and the photos help as well. We lucked out and got a great price on a great trailer that we use for RVing. We probably paid 60% of the MSRP.
When the web site is back up try it out. We lost 2 of the auctions before we won and it took lots of patience.

Bush policy; spend-waste-borrow-waste-borro w-spend-waste-borrow.

Imagine what this bood-doggle has cost the nation. Schools must have bake sales to buy book... FEMA buys all these trailers and they go to waste. This gov't is so very sick.

These FEMA trailers are just a reminder of the totally failed response of the bush adminstation, the gulf coast is still a total mess and will have to be handled by the democrats.

Just had to write something to these whining people. Don't they realize the president has great power, but have they ever heard of the checks and balances? Every action by the president (Republican or Democrat) has to be approved by majority votes! WHICH MEANS DEMOCRATS VOTED "YES" ON THE KATRINA ACTIONS as well as EVERYTHING! Hell, I just got on here to see where to find an auction but it looks like I had to educate some "bandwagon" numb skulls. The president is OUR president (Democrat or Republican),and we should stand behind him!
Now where do I find the pull behind FEMA trailers?:) dwhla@hotmail.com

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Libra

Someone is shooting from the hip today, making them irascible and all too liable to fly off the handle. Be very wary about provoking them into further outbursts, particularly where the vexed topics of money and sex are concerned. If you're trying to sort out a financial problem you will also be prone to losing your rag and banging your fist on the table. But will that help?
