What is horrible about all this is no one has said WHERE to buy a FEMA trailer!!!! I realize [e-mail] is just selling trailers that he probably bought and is trying to make a profit (that's America for you!)and that's fine for 'hayallkea'(I really hope he sells them at a fair price, MOST AREN'T).'WE' just want to know where to buy them WITHOUT the middle man. I too had a Jayco FEMA trailer that I took excellent care of and then was told to get out of it because of formaldihide (BIG JOKE!!!). Instead of the people that lived in the trailers paying $600 for them-now they sit on huge properties rotting and we--tax payers--are footing the bill.

Yes, your are exactly right. I am just trying to make a little profit on these. I have the best prices ANYWHERE on these FEMA trailers. Instead of trying to make a killing on one trailer, I just try to make a small profit on each one but sell hundreds of them. Like you said, that's the American way.

Anyway, for those looking to buy a FEMA trailer without the middle man, well you're sort of out of luck. In the past, FEMA has auctioned them off individually online. But in the past 2 months, they've began selling them only in LARGE lots. Lots of 400+ at one time. The average "joe" can no longer buy them directly from FEMA (unless they are living in it and FEMA offers it to them for practically nothing) FEMA is honestly going to flood the market with these, but what can we do about it???

they are being sold in bastrop,la right now. (not by me) 3500 to 6995 each.. i dont know the guys contact info but i am sure some one out there does and will post it. i looked a couple over and they are not bad if used for camps or the like. would not want to be in it long term.

Why are people so goofy and gullible? Do you think these trailers are constructed from any different materials than any other trailer homes? Of course not. Open the windows and let the thing air out like everyone has always done with new trailers. This kind of ridiculous thinking and massive waste is what the government always produces in everything it does.
