To me, this is your opinion only. If you live long enough in Painesville, the trains will become like any other outside noise. I gre up in Painesville, so I know this to be true. Either put up, with the trains, or you can allways move to another town.

Painesville is a great place to be(except Nov-April). Am a former resident, and I enjoy my visits there(May-Sept). Metro-parks are nice. YMCA is great. Seems like there is always constuction on Mentor avenue!!!

Obviously you're referring to parts of Painesville City. None of those things are problems in the Township.

So then let's not generalize the area. YOU AND I know that Painesville Township is nice and totally opposite from the City, but those considering moving into the area certainly don't. If we only harp on the bad side of things, people will never get to know what a great area most of the Township and parts of the City are.

Not any closer than the city is. It's about 10-15 mins. away, which beats living right next door to it in Perry!

Okay "people", all places have issues (EVEN EASTLAKE...in all its glamour). Did someone say
Cleveland?!? EVERYBODY has to deal with the same issues. Unless you can afford to move everytime you don't like a neighbor, do something about it. On-line "shit talking" isn't getting it done, in fact it's quite the cowardly thing to do. Yes I have lived in other areas (states and countries)and things like crime, drugs, transportaion, and/or construction are not limited to Painesville.

I grew up in Painesville and liked hearing the trains whistle when I was a kid. Painesville does not suck because it has too many trains. It sucks for a lot of other reasons.
