It is absolutely disgusting what is going on in the Attica police force and Chief Smith should be fired. Thank god I don't live in that township. As a mother of three young adult children, ages 22,20 and 17 I was appalled at what I have been reading in the Buffalo News the last couple of weeks. How can you use innocent children who have been pulled over for a traffic ticket and have them become drug informants. It is absolutely mind boggling. Why would anyone of authority abuse their power to do that. I am absolutely speechless at this. If drug pushers need to be caught and rightfully so the police should be doing their job that they are trained to do and not use innocent children and young adults to do it for them. To arrest that young man who didn't show up for traffic court after doing what was asked of him to lure in the drug dealers is ludaqrist. The police offers involved in this should be ashamed of them selves.

I know the they went to far out on this one, but the police are not that stupid ,they most likly knew it wasn't gonna be that dangerous, and had to have some one very close buy to protect her.there trying to protect the children from the dangers of drugs.Petty pill dealers usesally arn't that smart enough to have anything more dangeruos besides drugs, and the cops problebly knew that, i hope.

Wow the Attica cops have not changed too much. I moved away in 1977,then an expired tag was as bad as bank robber! But its no better in Florida. Give a badge and sometimes it goes to thier head. NOT ALL. There are many who do a great job.
