This place seems pretty nice, but you may want to stay away if you don't like smoke. I tried eating in the restaurant section, but after about 2 minutes I couldn't take the smell of smoke anymore and had to leave. The place is very open with big garage doors that are open between the bar and restaurant section so the smoke just pours right in. Unless this place goes smoke free I won't be returning and I recommend you do the same.

I feel the same way about Raffey's. I like the restaurant but I cannot take the smoke.

The smoke was bad in the beginning because of how crouded the bar area was, Now that things have settled down it seems ok.

Another couple along with my husband and myself went to Raffy's for the first time on a Thursday night. We were so disappointed - in everything. It took 45 minutes for someone to let us know that our dinners were on their way - we all ordered the specials - 3 stuffed shrimp and 1 steamed shrimp. I had to remind the manager that we had ordered an appetizer, the hot crab dip - which wasn't hot all the way through. The manager came over again to let us know that they had a 25 top and were getting to ours. There were only a few other people in the restaurant and to me that's not a good excuse. The food was absolutely horrible. The stuffed shrimp special was so overcooked that it was hard and charred on the bottom, full of filler and very salty. The steamed shrimp wasn't anything special. The side of cole slaw had a ton of black pepper and we literally couldn't eat it. We asked for a replacement and the manager came by and agreed that it had way too much pepper. Because of the long wait time and poor service, she said she would take the appetizer off the bill, but of course when the bill came, the appetizer was on there, we had to hunt down the waitress and ask for it to be removed. The waitress said the manager didn't communicate this to her. Needless to say - all four of agreed that we won't be back! It was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had.

My husband and I wanted a nice brunch and heard that Raffy's had one. As we walked in the restaurant was empty except for 1 table. That should have been a sign. For 11:00am on a Sunday, any good brunch would have had more customers than that. The food was at least day old and the Prime rib was horrible. Our waitress didn't smile once, not even to greet us. My husband had to go to the bar for his own refill and another waitress took out dirty dishes. I reccomend that you DO NOT eat there.

The food is not worth the price. I have been to many places for seafood and this is not very good. What they call a pound of shrimp is not a pound unless you add in the weight of the onions and cocktail sauce and they were very expensive and not that good. They are also not very friendly. I will not go there again and would never recommend them to anyone. There are alot of good restaurants with much better food and prices out there. Don't waste your money.
