So king MOM increases spending, raises taxes, and gives his cronies big raises. And what did he say about the the 72 percent BGE increase? Oh yes, that will never happen when I am governor. All this when a recession was forcast a year ago. Go figure.

We're just getting started.
When is this recession going to be addressed by our non effected politicians? Maybe they'll do something when it becomes The Second Depression.

I was in a Virginia store, just a few miles over the line from Maryland earlier this week. They had a huge display of cartons of cigarettes immediately inside the front door. Where do you suppose the shoppers for these cigarettes came from?

I wonder if the sales at Christiana Mall in Delaware are down?

It is amazing to see all you republicans try to blame the national economy on O'Malley.

Years of republcian backed trade policies, the GOP coddling of white collar criminals on Wall Street and lending institutions, rampant corporate welfare, and profligate spending on unnecessary wars and the military industrial complex have done far more to hurt the economy than anything else.

You morons are so focus on your own echo chamber of neocon dogma that you are blind to your own involvement in the larger economic problems facing America. Take the splinter out of your own eyes you hypocrits.

As usual all you dittoheads can do is blame someone who doesn't goosestep to the republican party line. To bad the size of your brains are inversely proportional to the size of your big ratpublican mouths.

I'm sure this post will precipitate a frenzy of right-wing hate mail, so in the words of your hero-Bring it On.

Nice one Randy! Ha! Also, did anyone else notice in Doc Holliday's rant that he spelled hypocrite wrong! Oh, the democrats SAY they are for educational spending but Doc proves us wrong. Doc, you are what's wrong with the Democratic party.

By they way, you should see ALL of the building that is going on just over the state line in Hanover, PA. It's like they have the welcome wagon out cause they know Marylanders will be there soon. Houses are at a really nice price too!

You may want to inquiry about this useful tool called "Spell Check." Use it quickly though, MOM may tax that too. It will also help with grammatical errors. But until you find that tool, keep drinking the kool-aid.

There is a little problem with 'making cuts': most people ALREADY had cut back to the bare minimum already.

Now, my parents make enough that they haven't had to do that.... but I have seen a lot of people who do not make near as much as my parents barely scraping by.

Really, we need to start investigating all these 'rising costs'. In an economy where everything is being made easier and cheaper..... prices shouldn't be going up, they should be going DOWN.

Outside of the computer industry, I haven't seen that however.

You are so right on that it is not funny. I am a Democrat, so take it for what it is worth, but I agree with everything that you said here: the Republicans have RUINED this country with their stupid policies, and it is going to take the Democrats a long time to fix it.
Raising taxes for anyone making over 10 million a year to about 80-90% of their income would be a first step and a welcome one, as well as making people pay into Social Security with NO exemptions and no refusals.
