The sauce is too sweet. But the dough is good. Good mozzarella. Pizza Johns and Squires are still better.

I loved this place. The best coal fired pizza I ever ate. This guy is a real pizza master and restaurateur with his product he puts out.

I always havebeen a fan of this place when it was open. The most spectacular pizza I ever have tasted. And I must also say the owner is pretty hot. Always seems to be there managing the operation. He definately knows the pizza business well.

I have heard through the grapevine that the owner/CEO Michael DePasquale Jr. Is opening the Phat Pug up again. This time 11 locations strong. Heard he signed a big deal with another verywell known restaurant group. And they have added coal fired appetizers and dinners to their menu. I think they are opening them up in Baltimore/Nortern Va/Lasveas and California. I will keep everyone posted.

I read the comment above. Funny i heard the same thing. I can say the pizza is excellent call fire pizza but the service there was terrible. Alot of young kids working with no concern for customers. But i do like there food I think the pizza and subs salads are the best around. Just the staff sucks and they are unorganized.

Sounds like a lot of jealous people out there. And slandering the guys business when he was open. IP address can be traced. If the guy is smart he will trace this IP address and find out who is slandering his business and file suit. It's very easy today and it seems it's very easy to place a lawsuit. Especially for slander and reckless endangering someone's business.
