For those who don't think it's a real job, you get an actual 'check' for holding up a sign./:)
It's true that as a human directional you stand at a corner and hold a sign but most of those signs are close to 6 feet tall, try holding it when it gets windy or when it is over 100 out there, not easy. X(
FYI, I retired from my job years ago and now I do the 'sign thing' as a part-time job. Easy money? YES, but it comes with quirks. BTW, to whom it may concern, it is 'company policy' to stand behind the signs. For those who shout out compliments, YW.:"> :)
