Perkasie PD had nothing to do with the police reports. The Bucks Co. Detectives were brought in to do the investigation. Their report was handed to the District Attorney to review.

that's absolutely false. the chief of police in perkasie was a part of the investigation. And these papers that are missing from the report is the chief and the DA trying to push this past reelection time...

You're an idiot.. You cant even spell protocol, yet you know what the correct protocol is for shooting someone. The cop made a poor decision when he pulled his gun out on an unarmed suspect, especially when he had two other cops with him.

wow concerned, you must have been there . why didn't you help the cop or the suspect out . why didn't you go to the reporters or the da with what you saw .

We all saw the kids picture in the paper. The average female cop could've taken that skinny little runt to the ground, non lethally. Three cops, two of which were armed with taser guns, had a ton of options to make this kid comply without shooting him.

hi warren , guess also must haveknwn everything that went on that day . all of you havesuch great ideas . i sure hope you all have calle the da so you can be expert wittness and put that cop in jail.

my question is do you belive everything you read in the paper ?

sure maybe there were better chooses to maybe use less lethally way to hand this . but as far as i can tell none of us were there so we really have no way to past judgement on this .

i understand everyone has an opion on things i only wish people could look at things with a more open mind .

i'm not saying the cops were right or wrong but what you need to think about is they go thru alot of training on alot of levels . if anyone one of the people here making comments on something they have no idea of the training the officer had . if you were in the service of any type you would understand that when things like this happen you follow your training . it is just that simple . but if you have never served you would not understand .

Very interesting! Yes! They are well trained, Too well trained! All that training induces an elitist feeling of superiority. Before long, that can become an "I can do anything" feeling. Given the present similarity between the military and the police, one can easily see where this can go. Also, we had a campaign, years ago, of "our police are outgunned" This began an arms race between the police and the mythical super well armed "Bad Guys" with the taxpayers footing the bill. One town I know of in NJ issued MP 5s at $800 a copy. This is a town where no cop has fired their weapon, in line of duty, in at least 35 years. Police in this town complain that they spend much of their shifts just answering false alarm calls due to clumsy cleaning crews, So there is a huge difference between what the police are actually doing and what they say they are doing. But for decades, Police Chiefs virtually ran towns for years. They had either tenure or contracts with golden parachutes and they were seldom terminated. They enjoyed a longevity that other, elected officials could only envy. They were the real power behind the scenes. And they did what every other power does, they claimed their share of the budget, or what they considered that share to be. Suddenly, we notice that the police are much more aggressive, with more high tech equipment and in great numbers. If we don't reverse this disturbing trend, we can look for the rebirth of the old East German (DDR) republik.

terrye i agree with what you have said . what i was getting at is that none of us were there when this happened. everyone is blaming the police witch is normal today . we are looking in a very small window of what happened that day . what lead up to this happening . at some point we need to trust those with trainning and if they are found to be wrong throw the book at them . we need to open our eyes wide and understand there are many drugs that people can be on that make them out of control . we also don't know the mental state of this person . we just need to step back and look at the whole picture .

I just moved to the area and can tell you the cops in Upper Bucks County ARE corrupt! They watch each other's back and are willing (and able) to falsify reports. They have no integrity. I was accused of Road Rage by someone who knew a cop. The cop did not believe a word I had to say and pretty much accused me of lying to him. He got several other cops to the scene in order to intimidate. Did not work and I look forward to the court appearance. I know ACLU lawyers. I just hope the DA, in this case, has integrity. If not, this can easily be taken to higher ups. Do not give in to those rogue corrupt Upper Bucks County PIGS! I lost respect for Police after moving here. Donated graciously to NLEMF, Cheif of Polce, etc. No more. The cops around here have changed my mind. Nice job Upper Bucks Pigs.
