Taxpayer lobbyists don't want their money spent on anything that is not directly used by them. They have no ability to see benefit to a greater good or those around them in the absence of their direct benefit.
Im saying "taxpayer lobbyists" would be free to worry about other important things if the skaters could just fix the ramps themselves. The government doesn't have to be involved at all. It's a square of concrete and the kids skate there at their own risk. There needs to be no involvement by anyone besides whoever owns the land and whoever decides to skate on it.

What lobbyist do you think promoted a stupid skatepark in Quakertown? They tried to build something for the kids to use and a handful of dopes wrecked it for everyone.
More boogieman stories about 'dopes' wandering in and breaking stuff. Utterly clueless, fear based supposition. The ramps are made of plastic and are becoming damaged through normal use. I know because I look at the things 3 or 4 times a week. That's all that's wrong with the place. Otherwise its fine. It's nowhere near 'wrecked', but 3 or 4 spots need some repair because screws are coming out of the plastic.

As for graffiti, who cares? They're ramps for teenagers. not sculptures. no one ever fell on graffiti.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Virgo

You aren't fooling anyone - it's easy for everyone else to see that inexperienced people are unaware of their obligations, Virgo. You're grumpy about starting a familiar process from the beginning again, but don't let that get in the way of getting on with it. Sour grapes have no place in your daily dealings. Although you may 'own' a project, it's ultimately in the hands of someone else. Deal with it and then move on.
