Has anyone ever noticed that when a women is raped, when the accused is talked about in the paper words like rapist and sexual assault are used frequently.
Yet in the article on the football players who raped the other boys, there is absolutely nothing to indicate that the players committed sex crimes. For all we know, from the biased way the article is written, the victims were smacked with the broomstick.
Why is it that The New Mexican doesn't want to talk honestly about this event?

The New Mexican doesn't want to expose this as rape because it would then qualify as a homosexual act and would challenge the status quo.
The psuedo-machismo of the perpetrators and the society in which they were raised would be brought into question.
The New Mexican can't have that...
