Allow me to enquire: Are you familiar with the Oedipus Complex, or the Electra Complex? Both were written about in ancient Greek literature. And both are well established as facts of life.
Keep that psychology bullcrap in the classroom. This is real life with real animals being killed for NO REASON WHATSOEVER other than a misunderstanding of their behavior by ignorant people.

We have a bunch of ranchers who think that animals should know that they aren't supposed to eat an easy meal that is left out as fair game for them.

BTW, I rolled my eyes at most of that psychology shit I had in high school and college. Who are humans to think that animals can't feel love and pain, make consciencious decisions, make and use tools, and use reason and thought in their everyday lives simply because they don't speak human language?

Killing to eat is fine. Killing just to kill is wrong!!
BTW, I wouldn't condone hunting and killing humans. You just have no sense of humor.

I can't buy into that remark.
Balance is EVERYTHING in nature.

Call YOURSELF, what you will, but I AM NOT and animal.
Rather, I am a HUMAN. There's a BIG difference, in the case you didn't know it!
The fact is just this: Animals have THEIR territory.
Cats, wolves, bear, and other omnivores MARK their territory.
Humans mark their's as well.
Got a problem with that?
Oh, and BTW: "Killing just to kill is wrong!!"
Yeah? Well be telling that to weasels!

Lots of times you go through life knowing something is a certian fact no wiggle room it just that way, And suddenly you find it isnt that way at all. Today I ran across one of those anomolys. some sheep developed the blind staggers. they seemed to be blind and walked in circles leaning very sharply. It was always taken for granted that it was caused by livestock eating ferns. Now its discovered it,s from too much shulpur. Folks feeding sheep goats ,deer elk ect. shouldnt put out those yellow salt blocks. Its possible many deer thought to have died from Blue toung had the blind staggers and the black vultures pecked their eyes out.

Im an animal. So what,s the big deal? The difference is Im aware of my soul. My human body is animal. Im not my body although im using my body at this time. many human,s have the ability to astrial travel. its a process where ones soul, spirit or astrial being can leave the living dody and travel to other places and then return back to the living body.

Well, by golly, maybe that's THE reason your U.S. Congress, and the EU are going in circles?

I realize populations fluctuate. It happens with coyotes too. If there are an over-abundance of them, disease or something will take care of it and they will die off to sustainable levels again.

Been a gunowner for over 40 years; former member of the NRA. This is just killing for killing's sakes. It won't cut back on the coyote population, it will just have the opposite effect.
Now it looks like some even bigger morons that couldn't make it to the New Mexico coyote slaughter have begun to use dolphins for target practice in the Gulf of Mexico. Imbeciles all!

You are an animal, whether you want to admit it or not.

There are many life forms on earth. We are one species out of many.
Your bodily functions are no different than any other animal, even though you may be shaped differently and have different abilites.

If you want to insist you are not an animal, then the ARA's have a good point when they say the reason we should be vegans is because we are not animals and shouldn't kill and eat them. I don't agree. I believe we are an animal, therefore are just as much part of the food chain as they are.

Deer are dying all over MI this fall and not from hunters.

Nov. 14, 2012
Some Michigan hunters are just learning today that they won’t be able to bag as many deer this year as they have in the past.

Firearms deer season begins tomorrow. The day before the start of firearms deer season is usually the busiest day at retailers who sell hunting licenses.

The state has reduced the number of antlerless deer licenses because of a viral disease, known as Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease or EHD. The disease has been present in Michigan for decades. But this year, weather conditions led to an unusually early outbreak of the disease. State officials have confirmed more than 13 thousand Michigan deer in more than 30 counties have died of EHD.

Russ Mason is the state Wildlife Division Chief. He says many hunters don’t know much about the disease, which may have killed as many as 50 thousand deer this fall.

“The reason for that is the outbreak was in western and central lower peninsula…not the east,” says Mason,“Guys on the east side …..they got no idea what’s going on…because it hasn’t gotten a lot of coverage. Guys in the central and western lower peninsula pretty acutely aware.”

Last week, state officials decided to cut in half the number of permits hunters could get. Mason says the hope is, by taking fewer does this year, hunters can help southern Michigan’s depleted deer herds rebound from the outbreak.

Deer hunting is a half-billion dollar industry in Michigan.

Mason doesn't think the deer deaths or the reduction in hunting permits will have a big effect on the industry.

It doesn't get much sicker than that! What's the reason? Dolphins killing calves, sheep and chickens there too?

I would certainly hope it doesn't come to that, at least not the shooting part.
But I fully comprehend from where it is that you speak, as there are many, many Americans who think they have the right to dictate to everyone else how they shall live, and not.
They love BIG government, and they always have their bloody hands out for more manna from BIG government.
As long as they are getting their government handouts, they don't care how much of their liberty is being taken away.
And I should mention that they will gladly spy on their neighbors, acting as 'government informants' not unlike what had happened in East Germany with the STASI.
It's always the so-called 'liberals' who pull that crap.

Okay- PEOPLE are animals.
In taxonony humans are classified as Homo sapiens or genus Homo, species sapiens. Mankind is actually classified in seven groups. Kingdom Animalia, humans are part of the animal kingdom. Phylum Chordata means that we have spinal chords. Class Mammalia means that we are mammals, are warm blooded and bare our live young. Four more would be Order Primates, Family Hominidae, Genus Homo and Species

NOTICE: Kingdom Animalia, humans are part of the animal kingdom.
In other words, humans are animals.

You can call youself waht you want, but scientists call you ANIMAL.

No. I just like to point that out everytime someone tries to place all the blame on "liberals." Republicans like to throw that liberal word around without doing their own soul-searching.

It is the move to the left by the republicans that has caused the republican party to lose support of true conservatives. That's the main reason Obama won. Conservatives just weren't anxious to vote this time around because there was little difference between the candidates.

Ah! I see! So, if your scientists were to refer to you as a slave, why, you'd willingly submit to such, right?
RIGHT?

What's that got to do with the fact that scientists classify humans as an animal species?

What makes you different than other animals?
Do you eat?
Do you sh**?
Do you reproduce?
Do you hear?
Do you see?
Do you die?

Amazing. Other animals do that stuff too.

Funny how people always call me a liberal when they find out I like animals. Is there some type of law against conservatives liking animals? If so, no one ever told me.
