George, I know that the Earth is 4-5 billion years old.
The motherships that brought humans to Earth didn't arrive until 8000 years ago.
Was that 8000 yr. BP? or 6000 yr BCE?))

I don't care for those PC BP and BCE eras.

What is the common era, the present era?

It's BC (Before Christ) and AD ("in the year of our Lord")for me.

So I guess the mother ship arrived in 6000 BC.

Have seen Apocalypto and as I recall at the end of the movie their were Spanish ships on the Horizon. Don't think you're the only intellectual around. And were not talking about Aztecs who were war like but peaceful Pueobloans who were forced to fight and kill in order to defend themselves because of the greed of the Spanish. Sounds like you need to clear your head and perhaps take a course in Pueblo Indian History
I didn't claim to be an intellectual, I just watched the movie and made a couple of observations. Projection on your part. Read the earlier posts that reiterate the remorse felt for any victims of conquest. Apaches and other tribes were killing Pueblos before then. There are no war dances at the pueblos thank goodness. If there are, they are only symbolic. The article acknowledges awareness and some measure of healing. What would you feel are appropriate measures to redress the sins of the past?

I happened to be there in town square during the ceremony .... the princess is very pretty . The prince is very handsome. A very stately couple nice to have royalty in the states.
