As awful as his crime is, death should be God's choice. He will meet his maker. A person giving him an injection should not be the culprit. I could not sleep with that responsibility. I have no doubt about the guilt. I only have trouble putting people to sleep.

Although attorney's may need to go through the motions for this pig, none of them resign from the case in moral protest.

Defense attorneys that argue for animals like Rodriguez make a good case in proving Shakespeare had a point.

Please. No ACLU, we all deserve a fair trial comments. Not ALL of us do when the forensic evidence is overwhelming, the witnesses are irrefutable and the scum who commit these sadistic, tortuous murders are defended, fed and housed by our tax dollar.

Once this caliber of vermin is convicted it should be 10 days to appeal. Upon denial it should be 24 hours to lethal injection.

Such diagnosed and proven cancers need to be cut out and destroyed.

Would you have felt this way had it been your daughter or sister he tortured and murdered? You cannot answer that question truthfully since you do not know. An eye for and eye. This POS must die.

I don't think it would bother me anymore than stepping on a bug to give this rabid animal the shot to put him down. Hopefully he would feel some of the fear his victim did.

It is wrong to have to pay for his appeals, It is wrong to have to pay for his prison time. It is wrong to have to pay for his death. It is wrong to have to pay for his funeral.

And if wanting him dead is wrong, I don't want to be right.

His appeals will be useless. He was convicted of capitol murder. He took a beautiful womens life. The filthy pig needs to be executed.

It's such a tragedy that a monster like Rodriguez, a convicted sex offender, was let out of prison to terrorize poor Dru and commit this evil crime. He is a sick, sick man - and society needs to be protected from people like him. Rodriguez certainly knew that he had demons inside him. The penal system and parole boards should be more "citizen focused" rather than offendor focused. Poor Dru and all our children should be protected from this guy and guys like him....

So in your parlance this POS "put Dru to sleep"? WOW! Yes, he will meet his maker as will we all. Some of us just would like to see that introduction happen sooner rather than later in his case. Moreover, I don't think there would be any problem in finding volunteers to give his pond scum the all-too-kind injection if there were a worry about being the culprit. Alfonso, grow a set and do the honorable thing for once in your miserable life. Withdraw your appeal.

I think anyone that takes a human life on this earth should be put to death asap! Life is hard enough ,to let some creep get away like this is no doubt by far the best
advice I could give in this case...I my self hispanic find this lost soul a bad soul
that should disapear from the face of this earth and let his missery be gone
forever......I'm sure he has hurt very many beautiful people with what he has done, he has disgraced his culture...society,& most of all himself....
i myself spent a life of crime and now I thank god 4 each and everyday
this year I was blessed with a new liver, you get blessings in life for good deeds.
you get darkness and death for all your"

Look at it this way, if God wants him alive, the lethal injection will fail.

It's called due process, and it serves to protect the innocent, NOT the guilty. I am all for the death penalty and not coddling criminals, but your idea of 10 days for appeal would be impossible. You are using a good example for your argument. Someone who is obviously guilty, but wait until someone whose guilt is more questionable comes along and we'll see what you have to say about putting them to death in such a hurry.

I would like him to endure the same pain and torture (or worse) that poor Dru went through. I still cry for her and her family. Now, her dad (Sid) is dying from inoperable cancer. I can't imagine what more her mother and family can endure. This very sick unit needs to meet "his" maker so he can suffer. The evidence was there. The look in his eyes were there. His mannerisms were there. I'm sure I wasn't the only one that saw it. To bad no one saw that before he was let out to begin with. I haven't taken the original Pink ribbons off my car antenna and NEVER will! This type of crime HAS TO STOP!! Appeals with this kind of evidence?? Oh my god! Git-er-done!!
