Real estate people always say markets are brisk, even now when we're in a depression.
I would never buy around here, especially because of never-ending tax increases.

Total BS. The market is in steep decline and getting worse. There will not be a bottom until all the sub-prime mortgages reset, which will be around 2012. Then it will be a very LONG road back, particularly if the banks keep denying mortgages to qualified buyers like they do now.

Only a fool would buy a home now. Values will decline at least another 30 - 40% before the bottom.

The Northeast Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors has been saying we poised to come out of decline for the last 4 years. I don't think we're in for another 30-40% decline, but we are approaching the historical multiplier of one's salary which was a typical measure of affordability.

The debt will fall on current home owners for their is no one else responsible left. This will have a impact on the hemet homeowners. These are trouble times and punished the responsible home owners with higher taxes and water cost could possible faulter the current residents. As you already know this is a bed community.. their only 13,000 homes in hemet and already half or more have forclosed. Theirs no real job company here to hire and keep money in the valley. Please consider diffrent alturnitives.

Sad/funny, only now approaching the real bottom. But even that might drop is what some is true about a decline later this year.
