David Brandon resigned as chief executive officer of Fayette Regional Health System on Dec. 2, 2009.

"The board chairman wanted to put me on paid leave rather than have me serve as a lame-duck CEO. At the end of the six-month leave, we mutually allowed my contract to expire. It was an amicable arrangement."

I don't understand this comment. Why would they pay someone for six months work and not work? Sounds fishy to us.

Very crooked man Mr. Brandon, When Iowa Health agreed to relocate the Brandon's He got and appraisal on his house that was nearly two times the value of the property. He then signed over the property to the relocation company, and is now trying to reclaim part of the property from the folks that bought it from the relocation co. This is the kind of business man you have working in your health care system. very crooked Mr. Brandon very crooked.
