Insight was much more personable and easier to get in touch with for problems. Never did I stay on hold for over a minute...and ALWAYS was able to get right to a "real person", not some stupid machine voice.
Prices are high too. We only have high speed internet, don't believe in cable though that may change with the government changes in February.
I'd have to say UNHAPPY!!

I am happy with our Comcast. I was very unsure when we signed up over a year ago. Since then we totally canceled our old service (after 8 mos) and restarted new service (in order to get new subscriber promo when we moved). No cancelation fee.

Found a lower promo price AFTER we re-started service and Comcast honored that. Looked back on bill and realized they didn't give us the newest promo price we had signed up for and they adjusted our future charges to make up for it. So far (2 months since they promised to adjust future charges) the charges have been reduced to match what they said they would do.

I just wanted to make a post that said I was happy because I am listening to a friend deal with canceling their Direct TV, OH MY GOD!!!(Thank goodness we never had THAT!) I notice people don't post good things about cable/satellite companies and I just wanted to do that because we have been very happy with our service.

Comcast and their bandwidth suck. If you pay for 10Mb/s speeds then you should be able to get that 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. I would much rather pay significantly less for 7Mb/s with unlimited bandwidth.

They are awful. I had them come to my house for my internet and my television service both. The person on the phone said that my service to my internet was "low and partially in the red" (can't remember the technical terms). I told them I am paying full price every month so I want it completely "in the green". Naturally it still stinks! They told me the problem with the television was the television itself, not their service. So... I guess all three t.v.'s in my home have the same exact problem with fuzziness on certain lower channels, etc. etc...at the same exact times!

They also screwed up my internet service BAD about a year ago. They put my account on another persons account. That person had access to ALL my information, emails, etc. That was a major security breach and a major problem. But of course they offer the usual 2 months discounted service and think that will appease the underling customer.

Bottom line. They suck.

My internet runs very,very slow and I have to continually reboot !
With the money being payed out by customers we should get much better service.
This is not right !
I never had a problem with Insight .

Is there anyone else that is having problems with their Comcast- email? For a few months now, the email server keeps going down and I am unable to check my mail ! Why are we paying so much if the internet is slow and email will not work half the time? I had to reboot 4 times yesterday... this is getting ridiculous !

I just dropped Comcast and went with Itv-3. More channels, more HD and the 5mb downloads are now 20. The install crew was very professional as well. If it's in your area I suggest you check it out.

I have Comcast where I am currently living and it seems in talking to people it doesn't matter how much or how little they have everyone pays about 130/140 a month. I am moving out of where I am now and I tried to get ITV3... They do not have their service in my area yet. The sales guy (who was awesome) said that sometime next year it should be in my area (fingers crossed). However in the mean time I am totally bummed out to have to get Comcast and I am scared to see what my bills are going to be. I already know they suck and cable companies are such a monopoly; just to be able to watch TV is over 1200.00 a year RIDICULOUS!! I remember when TV used to be FREE. I should just use the heck out of my gym membership and forget about TV altogether.

iTV3 has been very reliable, and of course super fast. I can load video to the internet in record time. I can stream Netflix at any given time of the day no problem. Dump Comcast asap, you won't look back.

I like Comcast. I don't like their customer service.
To me it is the worst I have ever come upon.
You talk to folks from other countries that you can't understand therefore they offer little to no help.
I think if we are supporting Comccast with our business the least they could do is employee more Americans.
Now before you all get ina uproar trying using the service and you'll know what I am talking about.
I wouldn't have one problem with people from another country but in order to resolve a customers issues you need to be able to understand each other if it is to be done in a timely manner.

I love my Comcast, I get every premium channel and an HDDVR/20MBPS Internet w/a free wifi router and Unlimited phone, I only pay around $160.00, I called in and said I was going to go to att or a competitor and that's when they brought out that good promo. I had AT&T for a year and was so glad when my contract was up, THEY SUCKED and when I would call them, I would be on hold for over 1/2 an hour every time. Comcast customer service is somewhere in the Chicago area so I know they don't outsource like AT&T did. Just check comcast's employment website, I look all the time, but there aren't any of the jobs I want that I'm qualified for in my area, but I'm always looking.

I love how we get Xfinity... much better, no extra cost! YEAH OK!!! NOT!!! They make us get a box (what is this the 80's again?) and they say "it's free - no extra cost at all". Then the next month the price on my bill goes up. Then they say that they are kicking up our internet speed at "no extra cost", yet my bill is higher again this month. My bill used to be 98.00 a month and it's now over 110.00. It's such a rip-off because it certainly doesn't run any faster and the T.V. is absolutely NO DIFFERENT AT ALL. COMCAST STINKS.

Ok.... I agree on the bad service, bad bad bad everything! Especially these stupid boxes. I wanted just my simple basic cable which is what I had. They add these boxes at NO CHARGE, then what do you know? All of a sudden I get a letter this week saying that the 2 extra free boxes are no longer free! Comcast or excuse me.... XFINITY is now doing away with the basic cable and calling the same service some other name so they can charge more AND... get this... the two FREE extra boxes... NO LONGER FREE.$10.00 extra for each box per month. WHAT A FREAKIN RIP OFF THIS COMPANY IS. DO THEY THINK WE ARE RICH? NOW I CANT EVEN AFFORD IT AT ALL.

We had so ma y issues with comcast! The sound would go out, the picture would freeze, half the time we couldn't watch our dvr recordings cause it wouldn't record right. There were many times it would say service is unavailable for no reason and then 10 to 20 mi utes later would come baack on. Always some type of interuption when watching. Customer service was difficult to get ahold of and when we did they were not exactly the most pleasent to deal with. My guess is their support team is sooo overwhelmed with customer problems. Ohh and we had internet problems everyday. We would have to reset our router. When we called comcast they told us we needed a new router and it wasn't on their end.....well since we have switched miraculously that very same router works exactly like its suppose to, imagine that. They were never that helpful and seemed blameless whenever we had difficulities with their service. Goodbye comcast...we are happy since we left your service.
