And that explains why day after day the casinos in Arizona are empty. Devoid of any customers from Arizona they are all going merrily into bankruptcy. Oh, yes, nobody wants those casinos in our state, we all oppose them with all our passion. If you will excuse me I have to go catch the free bus to the casino.

Could it be that our pockets are empty and we have no money to gamble?

Some casinos give you free drinks as long as you are playing the slots so a few bucks and a penny slot machine can give you a bit of fun and a few free drinks. Free transportation leaves you with enough cash for lunch and you can make a day of it.

Why do Americans all seem to believe that anything that is made legal should be taxed? If prostitution is so terrible that it has to be made illegal and those involved should be arrested and prosecuted why is it not evil to make money off of it? If it is bad then surely the government should have nothing to do with it. No?

If it is bad then surely the government HAS something to do with it.

Is that supposed to be one of those Teabagger comments on how bad the government is? The post office delivers the mail each and every day. The government makes really good roads. They do a fair to middlin' job of keeping the crooks locked up. They send me money of the third of every month. They keep the skies safe. They do all kinds of things and do them rather well. That dime store cynicism of yours is foolish.

Wait a minute. Don't the fellows in Washington want to raise the taxes on the upper class? Start here with casinos, horse rases and then some.

Your kidding right? Russia's Vladamir Putin called America a "parasite" on the worlds financial markets. He was right. Washington had how much time to put a debt bill together and waited to the very last minute. Is that your government working? Our economy is in shambles. No jobs, no money. But hey, according to you our government is working. Housing prices are in the cellar. Social security is headed for disaster, along with Medicare. But, alas your head is so far up someones arse you can't see any of this. For you, the only thing that matter is that you get YOUR check every month. Well, when that check is not in the mail, don't come crying here.

anyone who truly believes that these tribes planned, funded and built their own these casinos believe in santa claus too. Organized crime owns them lock stock and barrel, the indians are just willing pawns able to skim enough to keep their people happy.

Are you suggesting that the Government should set housing prices? To whom do you want to give authority over "the economy?" The Communist Party of the United States is the only one with an idea for directing "the economy." My observation is simply that the US government does a great many things quite well. All this chatter about how terrible the government is just rubbish intended to make pols who want to pose as populists while they try to get hold of the reigns of power look like they are helping the people when they are really just helping themselves. It was rubbish when Reagan said it and it's rubbish now.

Ah, I see my check has arrived.

Ciao

Whoever planned them, they are a great success for a large number of citizens who patronize them.
