Yes, we are too divided

No, we are 'united' in 'change'

Maybe, something has got to give

Don't care, moving to Canada

There seems to be a wide separation of ideals and agendas regarding everything between marriage, birth/abortions, IRS war against certain groups, lack of trust in Federal Government, morals in the military, unsecure borders and the list goes on and on.
Nobody in Government has constructive answers, only confusing expensive programs that continue to bleed the taxpayer dry...what is the 'Final Solution'...

what would YOU do if you were President ?...

Americans don't have the cojones for civil war or rebellion on a large scale for that matter. They are perfectly content working their ass off for less & less and giving more than their fair share to Washington to support the perks and pensions of the fat cats that are supposed to be representing us.

What you say is true indeed…complacency is not a virtue and never has been…however there is always the few brave people that are not benevolent morons of self-indulgence and apathy. Once the line is crossed by our obtrusive and abusive Federal Government (if it hasn’t already) a firestorm of epic proportions will manifest itself in ways that can only stimulate the imagination.
A man by the name of Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote a poem in 1775 entitled ‘The Concord Hymn’ and a line there in contained the phrase ‘…the shot that was heard around the world…’…the chain of events that subsequently took place led to the wonderful hand written proclamation called the ‘Declaration Of Independence’ 1776.

In our "Now" American society, there are no! lines to cross, no! last straw, no! now they've gone to far, absolutely no! breaking point, Americans will simply bend to the Government will no matter what that will might be. In essence, no gut's no balls and no civil war EVER!!! J.W. Simms.

Every time I check the news report I feel we are just one more click away from total social rebellion...the news media is very slow in reporting the truth about the dismal prospects of our nation ever regaining its former greatness…we have infested the nation with a group of foreign invaders from the south who have purged and plundered our country by the millions…we have abandoned all semblance of a moral code and instituted sexual perverts to Honorary Hero Status…we have deduced the ‘Right to Life’ as a criminal intent only overcome by killing more life in the womb at taxpayer expense…we have elected our true selves…people of no conscience or human worth who are represented by a President with no conscience or human worth…we have received what we deserve.

I have a framed over-sized (enlarged) copy of the 'Declaration of Independence' hanging on my wall in plain sight of anyone that visits my home...I doubt that too many people have ever read that document in its entirety...when one reads what those people wrote nearly 237 years ago and compares the situation they endured with the situation we have today...it's amazing how similar we have become servants of the tyrannical ego driven master of corruption...

yes, indeed...we have come full circle...and yes, we either confront the problem or continue the slippery slope into servitude...

I think we are going to continue to slide. Those getting a free ride and the illegals that vote will support this to the end. The real American has no chance.

I like the term you used...'The REAL American'...how would you define that term ?...along the lines of 'race'?...probably not...along the lines of 'gender'...again probably not...along the lines of 'social achievement'...I don't think so...but before I give my two cents worth...what do YOU think a 'True American' is ?...just curious...look forward to any and all replies!...

Any legal resident of the U.S.A. that will work for a living to support their family, live up to the Constitution,'Declaration of Independence' and other laws of the land. Does not believe government owes them a free ride. Selects those that govern on their ability to do so. Not based on color, religion, gender or party affiliation. How is that just for starts?

I can't disagree with you...you pretty much covered the bases...I would also add a Patriot who would defend this country with their life if necessary to best of their ability...which apparently most of us would defer to the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies...my concern is if and when the Federal Government controls the population in ways that mirror the same abuses that dictators and fascists have done in other countries in history that usurp U.S. Constitutional Law...(we are a nation of laws even if they are enforced with impunity, malfeasance and misfeasance many times)...The Federal Government puts 'strings attached' to the states for funding Public Safety causing abuses against non-criminal activity.

There was a time not long ago when all this madness could have been avoided and there would not be so much discontent in this nation but that time has slipped away from us in 2008 when the first fully fledged Marxist President was elected as President...now we have a 'shadow government' that is in control of our lives...The IRS will be used as Hitler used the Gestapo to stifle public opposition and as Stalin killed over 30,000,000 Russians that challenged his will...am afraid the U.S.A. is a lost cause since there are so few that have the stones to put up a resistance to the Federal Government Empire.

proudredneck, if your two cents worth is going to be along the lines of ( we're all immigrants from some where else ) or ( we invaded Indian territory and stole their land ) or some of the other happy horse shit kind of thinking along those lines please spare us your two cents worth, it's highly over priced.
