The story I heard was that Metrocenter officials asked the Sheriff to keep the Posse away from certain areas of the mall because some people were getting nervous. The Sheriff refused, so Metrocenter said goodbye. I don't know if that story is true, and I won't jump to any conclusions about why they wouldn't want law enforcement in certain areas or who was nervous, but I believe this is worthy of further investigative reporting. As the Sheriff said, "Ask them!"
