Typical brain dead response from a typical brain dead arizonan.

J*goffs like you make this place more miserable than it already is.

But I'll stay here and continue to pollute "your" air, waste "your" resources, and do everything I can to make your life as miserable as possible.

I just recently moved here and I LOVE IT!! Every single person I've talked to has been nothing but nice to me. As for the heat I'm from Arkansas and let me tell you it's WORSE there!!
Do you have all your teeth?

You must have big tits if everyone here has been nice to you.

Either that or you're selling your meth cheaper than anyone else, or you swallow or take facials while giving head

Either way, nobody really gives a sh*t

But Arkansas must be happy that they have one less brain dead idiot as a resident

Welcome to AZ, you can start counting the days when you'll be shot by a local cop, be held up by an illegal mexican, or have your house broken into by a meth-head

I think regardless of where you live, there will be unhappy or arrogant people. I do partially agree with you that it's difficult to meet people in this city, but there are plenty of good people, businesses, and opportunities in the valley.

The weather is perfect 7-8 months of the year, it is inexpensive to live here, and you can get a very nice home with under $200k. Tell me another place like this in the US.

Phoenix is a very odd city. I have been following the Arias trial the past few weeks and wondering
why it is such a big sensation. Slutty waitress uses knives and a fun to kill ex-boyfriend (or friend with benefits) in jealous rage. Is this worth a probably 2 million dollar trial by the time all the costs are tallied?

sooooooooooooooooo you do not like Phoenix ?....well, make like a tree and leave...too many eastern liberal want-a-bees anyway...go back to the grey skies, gloomy dreary closed up boarded buildings, grumpy azz democrat controled cities and please stay the hell out of Arizona...do not need you...do not want you...and please take a dozen or so Mexicans with you...thanks

Phoenix is not what it used to be. I haved lived here for many years. I have watched this place grow and have seen many changes. Not all bad or good. It is largely what you make of it. The pollution has definitely gotten much worse. The dust storms are larger and more frequent. Traffic is increasing daily. The summers are hotter and last longer. A lot of people get allergies when before they did not. Humidity and mosquitoes are now common here. I still love Arizona. It is truly a beautiful state. It is just going through growing pains.

Phoenix is nice, most of the year. Too hot in the summer, sure, but no city is perfect. I've lived all over North America, and other than maybe San Diego (which is expensive as heck), I'd rank this area No. 2 in terms of overall livability. I think most of the people who are bad-mouthing Phoenix have probably never lived in many other large urban areas (or any areas at all, for that matter). The people here seem just like the people I've met in countless U.S. and Canadian cities during my various business travels over the last 10 years. I think you kind of get back what you put out - the universe is a mirror. Cheers.

I just stumbled across this thread. I was actually looking for facts about Phoenix, Oregon. I lived in Phoenix, AZ during the early 90s, and despite being VERY poor, I met some of the best friends I've ever had in my life.I had the HOTTEST girlfriends in Phoenix, and I saw my favorite bands at the Mason Jar for about $12. I lived there for about 2 years of my early 20s. Your life is what you make it. Don't blame meth heads or rattlesnakes or people you perceive to be dumber than you. Now I live in Los Angeles and my 16 year old daughter is complaining about her job where she makes $130 for 6 hours work. She's a spoiled bitch, but you know what? She'll never have to have the stressful life experiences I had growing up. She'll never post her BS on a random board. YOU make your own decisions for YOU. If you served in the military I gratefully salute you. Having read EACH post in this thread it is my opinion that there are a lot of miserable people in the United States, and there always have been and always will be. I don't have it all figured out, but if you put a positive attitude out there, you will get a positive reaction back. I'm probably never going to come back to this thread, but if you take anything away from this post, be a good person. Be nice. Don't look to hate people. Be as irresponsible as you want but don't wake up one day and blame somebody else for your life.
