Easter in the Midwest

Even though I live in AZ now, I have fond memories of Easter in the Midwest where I grew up. Even though the weather was uncertain it always seemed like Easter was a beautiful day. The sun streaming through the flimsy curtains covering the bedroom window. The noise of family bustling downstairs. The smell of bacon and eggs wafting up from the kitchen where not only breakfast was being prepared, but a massive Easter dinner was underway as well. My Dad would come to the foot of the stairs and call up, "Git the hell off yer sister boy and git yer ass down here right now." Ahh, the fond memories of childhood!
