My heart goes out to the family, but I have to ask...why weren't these children wearing seatbelts?

Im keeping the family in my prayers but its being reported that the children didnt have on any seat belts but for some reason its been left out of this article i guess because it makes the parents look bad.

Lady, you may want to be carful. Apparently you do not have children. As all parents know at some point kids will take off their seatbelts without parents realizing it as did these two. The parents were unaware they had done so. Things we say have a way of coming back and kicking us in the behind so look out. Don't you think they are hurting bad enough? YOu are just MEAN.

The family is so dear to our hearts and we are praying for them every day. They have too much to worry about as it is without having to worry about someone criticizing them when we all need to give them as much support as we can. I fully agree with Frances.

First of all, Other websites are reporting that they wasnt buckled in so how am I being mean? Thanks for clearing that up because now we all know the parents didnt fail to buckle them up. Im pretty sure alot of people wondered why the kids wasnt buckled in when they heard they were ejected from the car. I get the impression you must family or friend since you just attacked me. I hope Little Kensley gets better soon.

This family has been on my mind since i heard about it Wednesday night. I don't know them very good but through church, family and friends. If I'm not mistaken Dustin played/sung at my uncles funeral just a few weeks ago. He so willingly gave up part of his weekend to comfort our family with his voice and talent. The very least I can do in return is pour my heart out to the Lord to heal his little girl. I'm thankful the rest of them are okay and I believe the Lord will bring little Kensley back to them fiesty as ever.

The reason I said you were just being MEAN is because you said something about the seatbelt thing and then followed it with I guess it wasnt mentioned because it would make the parents look bad. You were being ugly and you know it. And yes I know that information because I know them.

i am a witness that seat belts do have a tenancy to fail. The kids could have been in their seat belts, its hard to say....the power behind a rolling vehicle, and in the rain, is a disaster waiting to happen!

To the family, you are all in our prayers. You are not to blame, for any reason, for what has happened. This could have happened to anyone, at anytime. God will get you through this trying time, just place your worries in his hands and let him work. He is the healer of all healers and the doctor of all doctors. Don't try to make sense of it just know you are in good care.... when you are in Gods hands.

Would you have even commented if the kids were reported to be buckled in? At times like this, parents already feel enough guilt that they just need support not some one who has no idea what really happened to make funky comments such as the one you made. Maybe WHNT didn't have that bit of information. One thing for sure is they aren't going to report on something they have no knowledge of.

Do you seriously think that if the mom knew the kids weren't buckled in, especially in the rain, that she would have allowed it? I know I have a 5 year old, her and her 7 year old brother are forever unbuckling themselves, whether it be to reach something or to share crayons. I don't blame the mom or the dad. On a recent trip back from Panama Beach City Florida we hit some pretty bad rain, we almost hydroplaned ourselves. It was a freak accident, we shouldn't be pointing fingers, no one, for real, is to blame.

We will be praying for this family.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Capricorn

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
