Check out the condos along I-78 or I-287. They were built under the Mount Laurel II "Builders' Remedy" ruling, allegedly for poor urban people. There is no mass transit in those areas, so "poor" suburban folks live in the condos. Builders' Remedy made money for builders, while allowing the developers to despoil the landscape. The Mount Laurel decisions represent judicial legislation from unelected judges, and social engineering at its best (or worst). What a scam! Everbody wins but the people.

I totally agree professor, about those SOB unelected judges. Unfornately, Gov. Whitman is the one who had appointed some of those liberal left-wing state supreme court judges during her two terms and we have been 'paying' dearly for those terrible decisions since. That STUPID woman pretty much destroyed the NJ Republican Party. Have you noticed that the Bergen County Republican Party HQ on Main ST. in Hackensack is gone ??----Very sad. But what do you expect from a party that has been de-balled and 'un-led' by inept individuals ?

I agree 100%
