Do you know anyone on suboxone? I have a family member on it. She has been taking it for 6 months now and is still taking the same dose as when she began is this normal? I was under the impression that you are slowly taken off it. If you could please let me know I would be greatly appreciative.

This is one of the top abused drugs and is killing our kids every day. It is used legally to get people off morphine etc, but deadly if not used in a controlled, legal way.

the only way suboxone is lethal is when mixed with other drugs, mainly nerve pills like Xanax and Valium. There have been no overdose deaths attributed solely to suboxone.

No it's not killing our kids. It is a very safe drug that has been approved by the Food and Drug Admin for a disease called addiction.
It is a miracle drug for those who have addiction and helping millions of people across the country. There is no denying this drugs benefits to people who need it. No one has ever overdosed on suboxone, and it is only dangerous when mixing it with medicine like xanax or valium. Mostly benzo diazapam! Other that that , Perfectly Safe! Even on the liver!

You better check your facts. Ask your local undertaker's opinion.

This came up in conversation the other day and a friend of mine was talking about his cousin who is on Suboxone. His doctor prescribed him both Suboxone and Xanax, which I thought was weird. Apparently it is very common though.

It makes me question it too. Are there several pain clinics in that area? It happens at those frequently.

The pain clinics are nothing more than dope houses.
Try to get them shut down before they open, and closed if they are open.
Go check out the parking lots, there are vehicles from all over the USA. You can only pay with cash, like $200.00 per visit, then get scripts that most pharmacies won't even fill because they know they aren't legal. The DEA is hitting the doctors and pharmacies hard as there is a trail of the drugs. They know exactly who is getting what, and who prescribed them. I guess they forgot about the paper trail. LOL

you can get a high from this drug when taken incorrectly and even though xanax is prescribed along with it, it is not a safe combination ppl take to much and are actually dying in their sleep. I know all this because I know many ppl who abuse this drug and I know 3 who actually have died from it. So I personaly think if a person is goin to take it they way it is prescribed then good but most ppl who get it just abuse it.

the clinics charg 100 dollers a week just for the visit . the drug is about 7 or 8 dollers each at the pharm. the medicin is sold to afford a return visit.this medication keeps alot of folk from KILLING themselves on other crap on the street.a person will not die by accident on it. there is no cure for addiction but this is if used for a life time is better than death by a needle or straw over dose.time to look this as disease not sinfull or immoral, thanks for reading
