Miner's wives should be out searching for a job now. Don't wait around on the inevitable to happen. Actually, you wives should be working fulltime during the whole marriage. Stay at home moms/wives are pretty much extinct in todays society. Unless you have mental or physical disabilities you should be helping your husband provide that love nest. When the wives are working, a few months layoff is much less stressful to the whole family.
Are you kidding me??? I have never worked a full time job outside the home. I have worked as a substitute teacher, sewed for people, babysit, and volunteered at schools.

I have plenty to do at home to keep me busy. And I raised my kids myself! I understand the "need" to work these days, but it isn't always a "need". We did without a lot of things so I could stay home and raise my children. I get tired of hearing women complain about working, yet they drive a brand new car, have a boat, wear the best clothes (them and their children). There is a simple solution do without some things. Live in a smaller house, drive a used car! If mothers need to work fine go for it, if you want to work fine...but if you work to have more "stuff" and then complain about it...I don't buy it!

I do feel sorry for all the coal miners losing jobs. It is a sad day when coal miners are becoming a part of the past instead of the future.

Obama is not against coal? The EPA is not causing miners to lose jobs? Right. And there is no inflation (because they stopped including food and gas in the figures). Unemployment is 8.3 %(because they dont count the millions who have given up looking for a job). Bush's deficit was only 400 billion (because they did not count the money spent on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan) and Clinton had a surplus one year (because they did not count the money spent on interest on the debt) And last year Congress cut 1.2 trillion dollars off of the deficit (but that is over the next ten years, which have annual projected deficits of over one trillion per year, so after ten years we will be 8.8 trillion more in debt) And what kind of deal do you think the government made with the coal company to get them to say that the jobs weren't lost due to Obama and the EPA? Wake up and smell what you are shoveling!

More lies did you watch channel 5 last night they did say it was part of the reason you just want to be a Obama fan get over it there is no lies in that. Obama said when he was elected he would do just what he is doing shutting the coal mines down. Please open your eyes stop being a party person and see what is about to happen the mines are closing next some of the stores will close and food places we must have business to survive. I dont understand why people will defend him he is just a horrible president. I dont care who runs or wins what party we need jobs to put food on our table lets all get real.

People defend him because he is on their side of whatever issue they care about (abortion, immigration, guns, gay rights, school vouchers, unions, etc.etc. etc.) They support him because their "issue" is more important to them than saving our country from becoming bankrupt, and than us losing our freedom.
