Obama on abortions

“President Obama’s appalling record on abortion is not just limited to his four votes to deny rights to abortion survivors but spans to his recent heartless refusal to support bans on sex-selection and late-term abortions,” Dannenfelser says in the release.“These actions fly in the face of mainstream American views and run counter to the President’s first term pre-election talk of finding common ground.”
In the video, Ohden describes her own, personal story surrounding abortion survival, highlighting how she was saved following a botched procedure. Additionally, she recaps some contentious facts about Obama’s record on the matter. Here’s a partial transcript:
“I was aborted, and my body discarded…like I didn’t exist.
But a nurse heard me crying…and cared enough to save my life.
There’s something else you may not know…when he was in the Illinois State Senate, Barack Obama voted to deny basic constitutional protections for babies born alive from a failed abortion. Not once, but four times.
I know that it is by the grace of God I am alive today…if only to ask America this question:
Is this the kind of leadership that will move us forward? Leadership that would discard the least and the weakest among us?”
Anyone who surrives a failed abortion does not deserve to be killed becasue Obama voted four times for this to happen when he was in the Illinois State Senate. How can anyone vote for a person of this charcter to be president of the United States? What if this had been either of his two girls? If you have children what if it had been one of your children? How can a President approve of killing a live child that can not defend themself? That speaks volumes about his moral beliefs. Before you vote you need to find out some of his past.

Wow, this "woman" is no longer a baby and is blaming Obama for her mother's failed abortion. What next, blaming him for the 29 stock market crash?

Seems as if you missed the point that Obama's wants a child killed if it surrives a failed aborition. I believe that you should do some research on this matter and you would know the background about another doctor who comes in and takes the life of a child who surrived an aborition attempt ban another doctor. Hmmmmmmmmmm!!!

To "Tell The Truth", PLEASE check the facts!!!
The ad implies Obama would leave babies who survive abortions to die, which is inaccurate. Obama voted against the act, but noted Illinois state law requires physicians to use life-saving measures should an aborted fetus in fact be born alive.
Obama maintained that his primary opposition to the state bill — of which the U.S. Congress passed a federal version in 2002 — was that it undermines Roe v. Wade and a women’s right to choose.
Furthermore, according to Illinois news media, there was no evidence that babies born alive after failed abortions were being left to die.
Factcheck.org did its own analysis of the claims in 2008.
The Susan B. Anthony List is a “social welfare” nonprofit, so it is not required to disclose its donors. In 2010, the most recent records available, the group reported raising $7 million.
The organization has spent almost $800,000 this election cycle, more than half of that supporting failed Republican presidential candidate, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum. The group spent an additional $188,000 opposing Obama.

The 'tell the truth' poster doesn't know what facts or what truth are. He's all over this site posting Republican talking points and ridiculous lies. A person would think he'd get tired of being proved wrong. He sits home all day while the wifey works and his mental halth is going fast. BTW, thanks for getting the correct info out there.

To tell the truth, I didn't miss anything. I simply chose to not answer your ridiculous claim as all your republican banter is ridiculous. Please do post Romney's plans on the taxes, spending, deficit, etc because those things are important to elections. A law like Roe vs. Wade that happened years ago is not on the table for most folks. You may not like abortions, but you cannot run this country or any other country and tell others what to do. I don't like the soda ban in NY but it doesn't affect me directly as I don't order large sodas. I don't buy them for my kids. I guess it goes to show you, find issues that are important to you, not talking points to derail the election talk. If you yourself were from a botched abortion, do work in congress to fight it, but don't stick it into election talk. It's not relevant to run the country.
