Actually I honestly believe that people that are gay are born that way....their hormones are messed up..that's why a gay man acts like a woman & a lesiban acts like a man!!!! They prolly need to be on hormone pills to fix the problem....god didn't make gay people!!!! But if you are gay...I honestly don't care & don't have a problem with you.....gay men make the best friends for us straight females....

Whether they're the same or not... whatever. There's more to discuss. And I don't understand comments like the one Ben posted. So what if people are gay? They should be proud and not give a damn what the scary, extremely religious people think. And Sandy's comment was OK, but she contradicted herself. She said that people are born gay, but that God didn't make them that way and that gays have hormonal problems. OK, hormones can play a part in someone's sexuality. To say that God didn't make someone the way they are, though, yet to say they were born that way doesn't make sense. And while we're on this subject about God making people, why are people born with handicaps? All I'm saying is why do people use that arugument against gays like everyone's supposed to believe the same way they do? I'm bi and I'm not ashamed. To me, someone's gender isn't of major importance. The major Christian argument against homosexuality is that people who have sex OUT OF WEDLOCK are so-called "sinners" because the belief is that sex is ONLY meant for procreation. How many people that posts such horrible comments on here about homosexuality has sex for other reasons and are not married? I just get so tired of people being so holier-than-thou and hypocritcal. I also don't undersatnd why people judge others because of their sexual orientation.

I am not trying to down anyone or trash talk them, but I honestly dont think God made them that way. That is just my opinion. I feel that if a man likes a man or a woman likes a woman that is their choice and not mine to make.I just dont think God made them that way.I have a member of my family that is more like a woman than a man,but I have never thought of him any other way than what his name is. I might not agree or understand a lot of things, but I just know he has a good heart and a wonderful person. I have never judged him.

Here's the way I look at it: Gay people are just that, people. You can't pick whom it is you fall in love with, whether you're gay or straight, it just happens. Whether your born gay or its a choice, it doesn't matter. I'm no bible thumper, but I believe when someone loves another it makes the world better. If a man happens to love a man or a womanhappens to love a woman, so be it. As long as there's more love in the world its a good thing. I'm not gay but I have gay friends and gay family. They're people just like you and me and they're pretty damn awesome.

Ok. No one is saying that gay people are bad people. They are only human just like I am. I just have to agree with a few others,I dont think GOD made a person to be gay. I am not saying that I am right or that just because that is the way I feel, that everyone else should feel that way also. I just dont understand I guess. I dont know anyone that is gay,but to be honest,it wouldnt matter to me if any of my friends or my family was,I still would love them just as I do now.

If U Seek, it's not a choice. I didn't choose to be attracted to both sexes. I just am. Who else knows about homosexuality or bisexuality than someone who is gay or bi?

Notegonspengler (I don't know what your username means haha), you're right in that you can't pick who you love. Love can surprise you. Try telling that to the small-minded people who says gays are "sinners", yet they'll not follow all of the Bible's teachings (who can really?)

Religious homophobes should not even think of sex when looking at someone they're attracted to (even though it's natural) because it's a sin.

You are a VERY well-spoken person. I agree with 90% of what you say, but the other 10% doesn't matter because of your writing and reasoning ability. Your talents are wasted on this site. Have you considered "blogging"?

Not kidding. A person who can form a proper sentence is a rarity in Lee Co. and especially topix. This person is smart and courteous so no wonder they are the victim of topix bullies. People attack what they don't comprehend.

Thanks, jRiv. I have a Xanga, but I've only posted pictures on it so far. I used to blog often on other blogs I had, even though I slack a little sometimes. Do you blog?

I meant *slacked. I would slack on other blogs, but I have not used my current blog like I have the old ones yet. My current blog will show more about my interest in photography. The photos aren't very artistic and I'm not real talented when it comes to photography. I just love taking pictures, though, and I want to get better with the camera. I need to start writing more like I used to. I was really into writing poetry and lyrics. I still am, but I'm slacking when it comes to writing. I need to spend more time on Xanga and less time on Topix.

I remember reading a comment written by you that said I'm friendly. So we've met. Where have we met?
