I moved to Castile, New York around 1961-1962 - I lived on the left side of the back of Maple Street in a Robin Egg Blue house. I was 6 and turned 7 soon after I moved there. I went to first, second and third grades at the Castile Elemetary School. I was looking to connect with some of my classmates and the teacher I loved, a Mr. Rittenhouse. I never forgot him or his stories of the war. My e-mail address is [email protected] I was born 4/1955. I remember a Connie who I know how was being terribly abused at home. She had dark hair. A Ronda who was tiny and had a hole in her heart, A Karen Walkley who's parents owned the Ice Cream store and had a dairy farm. Another boy whose face was disfigured from a fire that killed several members of his family and who cried whenever he got his class pictures. Tracy - she had dark hair and wore glasses. I've moved so many times since them because my parents were going to college and then I married a man in the US Special Forces. I figure the elementary school is gone by now since it was old when I was there. President Kennedy was shot during the second or third year I was there. I remember walking past the sugar maple trees - all tapped and dripping into the silver buckets. Anyone who was in school with me or knew me then - please write. I had short straight brown hair cut with short bangs, bright blue eyes and I was skinny. I had a brother named Kenny who was a year older than me. I look forward to ANY RESPONSE.:) I am 51 now.

I am searching for a fellow Mungo Chapman who I believe could be living in Penn Yan. He is the son of Mungo Chapman who died in Penn Yan in 1975 and who used to live in Keuka Street. He originally came to Penn Yan from Scotland in around 1922.
I am working on the Chapman family tree with another family member and we would be very interested in hearing more about this branch of the family. We have Chapman details going back to 1750 with the first Mungo Chapman recorded in 1781.
Any information would be gratefully received.
